but is there anyrhing a character can do in a thai drama that is not forgiven in 5 minutes? that is the main thing that keep characters from being relatable to me. I thought is was cultural differences but I can't imagine any culture where assaults, rape, several attempted murders and other harsh abuses are forgiven at the first "sorry" . I made my peace with it when I realized too often I'm here for the eye candy anyway
excellent review....thank you..I heard it was good but I'm reluctant because it may not be a happy ending...and the Dr prescription is " happy ending only" right now but reading your review may have given me the last push I needed to try it anyway
true but it was so cliché that is was good....in the under 10 minutes episodes its probably the best out there...... they only non cliche is the end and that why the end sucks......
loved this review......I have not watched it yet and I was browsing for what to watch next. I long stopped looking for logic in Thai dramas even if i enjoy them.....the villain is almost always forgiven after saying sorry following a very sudden " im so bad" epiphany even after multiple attempted murder....that said you have to take into account culture.....what is obviously sexual assault to us is usually" colored" by the perception and notion of " good girl" in the certain culture. they simply can't have a " good girl" choose to have sex so since sex is needed in the plot it obviously has to he against her will...... that why you always have those virgins that get assaulted and often knocked in thai dramas....they usually return to chastity right after .....u till the rapist comes back into the story......I could be wrong but that's my take on it
I don't want to shade her but that girl can't act, at all. Maybe I'm wrong and she's just type cast because she looks like a 12 yrs old, in characters that don't suit her but actors should be able to play any role. I speculate she knows people that how she gets the lead. I don't watch Chinese dramas expecting Seymour Hoffman like performances but I need a minimum cause she makes it hard to watch. Hopefully she learns & get better with time.
