Agreed with your preference. I don’t mind he teams up with Song Zu Er either, but my preference is Zhao Lusi. She is a good actress and their on/off screen chemistry in WRTW were fantastic. I rewatched WRTW so many times I lost count.

Chen Du Ling is another actress who cannot act either.

I know Kdrama actors and production qualities are better than Cdrama. I can’t stand the bright lights in Cdrama, especially modern ones, and Tencent is notoriously known for bad production, so is MangoTV.

I agreed with western ones, I used to watch a lot of western movies and dramas, only pick up Asian dramas since the pandemic the last 2 years. I only watch Kdrama through recommendations because I have to read the subtitles where with Chinese dramas, I can listen and playing games at the same time. Fast forward the bad and annoying parts.

It would be great if Xiao Zhan or Yang Yang takes on the ML role for this drama.

Agreed to disagreed and I respect your opinion as well. Each of us have our own view points that what make us unique and learn to appreciate and respect each other. I have my list of handsome men to look at too, but I also look for their acting abilities. In entertainment business regardless what country, we have the best actors/actresses, and we have the B-rated and C-rated actors/actresses as well. Like the most recent one that I watched on Netflix called "A Tourist's Guide to Love" where the lead actor and actress cannot act, especially the lead actor. It was a C-rated movie, but I liked the sceneries and the locations where they shot in Viet Nam.

Xian Xia genre is not my cup of tea, I tried so many Xian Xia and ended up dropping all of them including the most recent one TTEOTM with one of my favorite CP, Leo Luo and Bai Lu. Episodes 11-16 ruined the whole drama for me.

I could not passed episode one of LBFD, because not a great fan of Dylan and can’t stand the high pitch voice of Esther Yu. I used to like her in Moonlight with Ryan Ding, until I watched her in ROTLF with Vin Zhang, who I like but her acting and character she played in that drama and the high pitched voice ruined my taste and view on her. Not sure I will watch her or his future dramas.

I adore and love ZLS, I think she is the best actress of her generation, she has range and not a one-dimension actress like many pretty face actors and actresses in China. In addition, there are more handsome actors who are better looking than Dylan Wang, imo. Beauty is in the eyes of a beholder. I think Xử Kai, Yang Yang, Xiao Zhan are better looking.

Would be awesome to see Lusi and Lin Yi in a drama together.

I am not too keen on Dylan Wang pair up with Lusi. She needs a better partner and actor who can act. I am not able to finish anything that Dylan Wang in after Meteor Garden. I wish for different pairing.

She is a bad actress who cannot act. I dropped all dramas that she is in, especially the most recently one with Jeremy Tsui, the Journey of ChongZi

Why is Yang Yang team up Yang Chào Yue. She is a bad actress who can’t act. He should team up with Zhao Lusi instead.

Thank you for your respond. Moving forward I will not write any review for this genre anymore. I try hard to get into it because I like the actresses like Yang Zi, etc, but ended up could not finished any of them.

I write it based on my opinion and I respect your opinion as well. We may have different view points but no need to attack me just because I may see things differently than you. Be nice and respectful with each other online. I don’t attack the entertainers and who they are as people. I simply review the drama and the fictional characters that they play in the drama.
