Can people stop talking about the novel and spoiling the drama for everyone and also skewing their judgements?…
I would have agreed with you if that happened only in this drama but we all know this happens in pretty much most cdramas. The scriptwriters know their target audience(female) won't accept a male lead if he is poor, not handsome or genius, has lesser status than fl, having relationships with any other women than fl etc. And the worst of all is how the scriptwriters make male lead act out of his character to do some shitty thing to justify female lead dating/marrying other guys.
Haven't watched this but I'm surprised on your comment on Arthur's acting, I've watched 2 of his works... L&P…
Nothing can be done when script is so bad and has been done 100's times already. I am also not convinced of fl in romantic scenes either in this drama or her past drama
I stopped watching at episode 17 like almost a decade ago, not gone back as I felt that the FL's true husband…
You're probably not aware, but before Netflix entered the Korean market, almost all K-dramas used to film and even re shoot certain scenes right up until the final week of airing. As for the romantic conclusion, I felt that there was no right or wrong choice for the fl, I found all the characters wonderful
She is actually lucky to be cast aside a top actor.. Most of her prev male leads were just meh.. Now after the…
For you, you make like her more but lets not act like they are on same level commercial wise. Baeksang nomination/winning means nothing if there is no commercial success, the awards are just an additional bonus. She did many main roles in last ten years like 8-10 which is good enough to judge on what level of success she had.
She might be popular, but she’s not too big to take on secondary roles yet. This is likely because she hasn’t…
Encounter is a big hit as it hit 10% by episode 2 on TVN which is a paid channel rather than public one. I don't think there are more than couple of dramas in history that debuted with 10% on a paid channel. His only underwhelming drama Record of youth with negative reception still ended up near to 10% in ratings so it was not a flop ratings wise. Reply is his breakout role and why doesn't it count? All main characters get credit for this show as it is a family drama with an ensemble cast. As for kim so hyun, her dramas on paid channels end up with less than 5%, her last two dramas had like 2-3% throughout. Her public channel drama as you mentioned High School 2015. The Tale of Nokdu and Where the moon rises still ended up with single digit ratings. High School 2015 is probably the only hit she has and that also is probably due to very low production and salary costs as the main cast for that show was relatively unknown at that point.
