😅 can't keep up with new dramas releasing every day ??
No, I’m actually an old viewer I’ve been watching C-dramas since 2017. I’ve already stopped watching costume dramas because I don’t like the kind that are being made nowadays. Wuxia used to be my favorite genre, but the current ones feel like a disgrace to what the genre used to be.
Over the years, the number of dramas I finish has decreased a lot. I think last year I only completed around three or four dramas that were released. When I first started watching, I used to finish 20 to 30 dramas a year. That’s definitely not the case anymore maybe because the novelty has worn off, or because the overall quality of dramas has declined. One thing I especially dislike now is how male lead characters are being written.
I remember that at the end of 2025, during his speech at the "Tencent Video All Star Night," he stated…
I am not sure as I feel like long running dramas declining each year and losing market share to short dramas. Now, even entirely ai based dramas are starting to enter into the market
There has been no melons about next drama yet, while others are already getting melons about their next drama despite just joining shooting for a new drama. It has been 3 to 4 months since confession rumors, I know about the movie but I fear another 2020-2021, 2023-24 type of drought where no drama for next year. I mean having just 5 to 6 dramas in last 8 years since his debut in 2018 is very underwhelming
If this doesn't air mid March what about rebirth ?? Will it's also get pushed back? Anyone from China with info…
Doesn't matter if it's dual platform or not. Tencent will not have multiple costume dramas air at the same time. So yes until this drama completes its airing no other costume drama will be broadcast

I browse chinese social media from time to time, the order of broadcasting remains the same as per the latest rumors. Also, This is definitely not coming mid march more like late march or early next month
Do you mean the fact that they’re not airing any episodes apart from express package? Or because there hasn’t…
Not much promotion and don't think they even pushed the main cp which is needed to attract the online audience. It could have certainly reached 29k or 30k with a little bit of promotion but they went full on promoting another drama since last 3 or 4 days with so many things to boost/inflate its viewership that this drama might not have received even 20%. of that. This drama only became successful through good word of mouth it got from tv viewership
Doing Love beyond the grave might end up being a mistake as I feel the production team is not that good especially the script writer and the female lead seems to having issues with her agency so they might cause some problems during airing. Don''t want talk about Tencent too much since its still far away from release but the way they handled Love story in 1970's in last few days has left a bitter taste in my mouth
