I think it was explained later on in the episode. It's actually because she says he helped her solve a great case, he didn't like the words "great case" since that case meant someone's suffering, therefore she shouldn't have used the word great.

I will just point out some of the major events here to not ruin your experience if you decide to watch the show. Well first the big brother committed suicide. Nana's character is a sister who is attracted to her big brother and made sure he will break up with his current girlfriend. which led to another major event and it was the cause of the brother's death.
This show might not be for everyone so watch it with caution and it's definitely not for all ages, I'll put some spoilers under this comment so if you don't mind spoilers, check it out.
Now that I've calmed down. I am so happy and satisfied with this ending. At first I was so confused and didn't know what exactly happened but I get it very clearly Now. I hope the next BL adaptations will be better or at least close to what SHL did, they've done an amazing job with just little material and budget. I enjoyed this drama so much, I'm going to miss it. That was hell of a ride tho lol

I remember when I saw the trailer of the first episode and thought : this looks good , but since WYEL was the BL drama I liked the most and waited every week for the episodes, and the last one I was interested about plus LBC S2 was a let down , I wasn't really expecting anything from it, but I was planning to watch it anyway, then I totally forgot about it lol. On Friday night ( the first episode aired a day before ) I was going to bed but fortunately I checked a Facebook page to see if there's any BL news only to find the link for the first episode and I was like okay let me check this, everything was good until I saw the seen where Adachi fell and Kurosawa immediately stood up because he was worried, at that exact moment I got hooked and I ended up smiling like an idiot the entire episode , the scarf scene was the cherry on top. I fell in love with the drama, right after I finished the episode I read the available chapters of the manga and I knew right after reading how Kurosawa fell in love with Adachi that he is my favorite character, and of course since i can't understand Japanese i was focusing more on the acting and expressions and the little details, they've done an amazing job and you can tell that they've worked hard to portray the characters starting from the MLs to the side characters everything was on point, the BGM made me love this drama more, each one fit the mood of the scenes perfectly. This is getting too long, I can't help but tell a story with too many details, this drama is so special to me, it was the reason I start commenting and chatting with you guys. Plus watching it with y'all made it more enjoyable and fun ^^ luv y'all <3

Most of us enjoyed the drama because of Shen Wei and Zhao Yunlan their chemistry and great acting saved the show, I want to erase that CGI from my memory forever if I was able to, and that wasn't even the main problem with the drama :( However this is not the case with the drama you recommend I am really thankful to you for that btw. The production is great and there's some really great shots, l am in love with the OST I've watched the first two episodes subbed and I couldn't help but watch the other 5 episodes RAW XD The show is so good.Seriously how they can pass the censorship? I am not complaining lol and l am enjoying every scene. But really how come no one notices the STARES and the flirting? It's so obvious. Plus the editing in some scenes looks exactly like they are trying to show that there's something between this two specially in the opening and the ending songs.That's some really good work right there I am so impressed. Can't help but comment about the drama here, I am really liking the show so far and I can't wait to see the rest so I guess it's time for me to start reading the novel.Again Thank you for recommending this show^^
