Thats why I guess they dont want to gamble in the drama to introduce such uncommon ML. I might have a bias for Zhuanxu because I liked him in the novel. The only thing is he loves power more than Jiu Yao. I mean it was late when he realized his real.happiness lies..also he is the one who separated TSJ and JY it really would be interesting to see how they will change the drama to cater for ZX as the ML

Unpopular opinion, i also read the novel and i dont have a problem if Zhuanxu became the ML i mean they share more history with the FL, Xiang Liu well, he is the typical SL who is just contented doing right by the FL so.i dont have a problem with that. probably because he was MIA for such a long period in the novel...Zhuanxu's arc is much more interesting,he fits the typical male lead with all the complications surrounding his character..unl8cke Tu Shan Jing who seemed like a bystander, heck TSJ is the most boring among the 3 MLs but just because he gets the FL in the end he ended up the 'winner'but if played out in a drama...that would be too boring.
