This was so cute! I really enjoyed both of the leads separately as characters and their dynamic together. The beginning was perfect and it was adorable to see them trying to figure out their feelings. It started to drag in the middle but I think the end made up for it...I really loved how they didn't break up once they got together especially over something stupid like miscommunication. I thought how they handled their differences in the relationship was really mature but yet had a childlike response which made it super cute to watch.
Barely changes huh? My girl went out of her way to convince grandma gamri to get implants, changed the way she…
As I watched eps 5 and 6, I totally see her changes and I agree that Dushik has harder walls to break down. I just feel like whenever they make progress with the characters, it doesn't reflect in the later episodes so the pacing of the drama is the only thing that gets infuriating to watch. But I guess that's more reflective of the script and storyline rather than the characters themselves. That's just my own personal opinion though...
I actually did sort of like the politics aspect to this show in the beginning. There was something so fun in seeing the FL keep trying and doing her best in work situations that she might not understand. But the storyline started to drag a lot and it gets very skipable. I skipped most of the drama towards the end, however I do think the main characters really pieced the drama together. They were so loveable and the writers really thought the two out. And they had such cute chemistry too🥰 They were the only reason I'd watch the drama again.
I share your frustration with this drama and I agree that it doesn't really live up to the hype. If it weren't…
I totally agree!! They both definitely play their parts well but the writing does let them down majorly. Personally, their relationship dynamic is so unrealistic and hard for me to see it being compatible in real life and the script is not helping that mixed signal dynamic between them at allllllll. Thanks for putting it into words I was truly baffled as to why I couldn't appreciate the drama completely as everyone else on the comment section loool.
There's something very annoying about this show like it gets on my nerves a bit, it's slightly overhyped (for me personally). It's not like older dramas at all, theres something too slow about it. Unless there's a big revelation that validates reactions of the main leads in the next few eps I don't see the point. There's barely any character development and the only good part about it is the side characters right now. The way the FL reacts is a bit predictable and she barely changes. She has no communication skills even though her intentions may be good. It's hard for me to like characters like that. I feel like when they get into a relationship it'll break because of trauma that will resurface and that's also so predictable 😐 I have to admit tho, the romance scenes are very well filmed and do have that og kdrama essence to it which I adore and I see the chemistry but I don't understand WHY. Another thing that gives it the og kdrama feel is the calming vibes of the town and the residents. But idk what exactly annoys me and THAT MAKES IT MORE ANNOYING 😭
