Title River Where the Moon Rises
Alright, unpopular opinion coming right up. I’m gonna preface this by saying that I’m strictly against bullying of any kind & therefore don’t condone Ji Soo’s actions. That said, I’d still like to see Ji Soo’s scenes in this drama. And I say this entirely from an artistic viewpoint. Every actor has their own unique vibe/aura, coupled with their own unique look, acting style, body language, voice modulation, & dialogue delivery, all of which come together to make the crucial deciding factor as to whether or not they can suitably portray a particular character. And this factor has to then work in perfect harmony with that of the rest of the cast. Based on this two-fold reasoning, there is no denying that Ji Soo was the perfect personification of On Dal. I enjoyed Na In Woo’s work in Mr Queen & give him major props for graciously stepping in on such short notice. But the aesthete in me is also curious as to the true, full potential & integrity of this drama with the most apt personification/presentation of the On Dal character. For this sole reason, I hope the producers will consider releasing the original version of this drama with Ji Soo’s scenes on the net once the television run ends. In the meantime, I will continue supporting this drama through its run for all the hard work the cast & crew have put into it.
