I agree. There is so much story here and especially if we consider that the original story was turned into a webtoon which then crossed several titles and stories. It would be great to see a Van without his memories and have the team try to win him over to their side again. And who exactly is the owner of that dagger in the end, the one with Baek in the hilt? He is the one the white hooded figures follow and worship. They are doing all this for him, their entire plan to make Van and Googtan into demon slayers was for this one person. Would love to see what the whole plan was and also those rings they wear that doesn't allow Van or Googtan to hurt them is also very intriguing.

The dagger is the one the girl finds at the end of the episode that belongs to the bigger baddie. The hooded figure is either the girl with the dagger or the bad guy from the white hooded clan with the dagger. It hints at the real danger and bad guy. The dagger is the one someone had used to break the seal in the prison Van and Googtan were going to be killed in which they escaped in the past due to a seal being broken.

Yes and yes or at least being resurrected. We also see demon rocks, unclear if they are Van and Guugtan. Don't know if it's just two or all the demons that were killed there.

It's open ended. Evil still has a hidden move with the dagger they used in the past and we see the demon rocks circling in the air. Van's blade which Mi ho now has moves on its own like it did when it sensed great evil.

I want another series, this is just too much.

Since you asked, I will comply, but I really didn't want to comment because the ending left me bare and broken. It is kind of a sad ending....you can stop reading here or continue, it is a sad ending for our favorite or favorite of most, but it is also left as an open ending with the hint that such character might return, might is the keyword here. It ends with more story to tell and the white robes playing a part in that aspect. Just be prepared to be heart broken and hopeful that if they ever do make another series or even maybe a movie, they bring back our hope and love for a particular character. I cried and just couldn't believe it.

Those are also my favorite. I used the coat scene in a YouTube shorts I made and will definitely be doing more of them. It brings me joy to be able to rewatch them again and again. I am still not ready for this series to end.

Omg yes, lol those are some of my favorite scenes as well. Island has been a pure pleasure to watch. I started to rewatch Part 1 again last night. I have also started doing YouTube shorts for some of my favorite scenes and the one where Van tries to take the chicken from Mi Ho but she put it in her mouth had me cracking up.

I am so happy I signed up for the Amazon Prime trial, I can watch the episodes on Thursday night instead of on Friday.

Have you seen his movie Pandora? I cried buckets in that movie. So much of his past works has the writer killing off his characters. I know one was due to his military service so the writer just wrote him off, that is what happened in Bad Guy. I loved his character there, but they did him dirty.

Yes, that scene had me holding my breath and at the edge of my seat, I was are they going to actually kiss? and then I came crashing down. Kim Nam Gil is so right, he is sooo ready to do a romance drama. His expressions are oozing love and longing.

I am super excited for all his new works. Loved everything he came out in. Even his silly cameos lol

I was the same, gave up after a few minutes in episode 1 because at that time I was watching The Guest and was looking for horror and darker themed dramas. But a few years later I caved in and watched it and I kicked myself for taking so long to watch it. I binge watched it and it is one of my favorites. There are some really good action scenes in it and one scene he even acted it out injured for real so his action was pretty much real in that scene. It's the factory, abandoned building scene. He had hurt his ribs but still did the scene. He also hurt his hand too due to all those action scenes he did in the series. You later learn why his character is so over the top and his back story is very touching, won't say more don't want to spoil it. Love Kim Nam Gil and wish there were more dramas with him in it. Loved Through the Darkness.

I hope we get the ending Mi ho is wanting, to see Van working as her bodyguard and them being close and in love. Imagine if we get another flipping guy over scene but this time it is Van doing it for her lol

Omg for sure and even when she was in the hospital bed and he reached out to touch her face but then moved back quickly when she woke. Or the time his jaw kept getting tense in some scenes where he was trying to hold back his feelings for her, they were just too good. Plus the cave scene took my breath away I was sure they were going to kiss. And in my mind they kissed in their minds lol Poor Mi ho was working so hard to flirt with him there, they were just too cute.
