It is a retelling with some additions and changes to fill the episode count. I thought it was similar, but someone pointed out it was a remake into a series and after watching 4 episodes I can see it is the same as the movie. Her living in a tent and her family not living with her is the same as the movie. The girl in the movie that interfered and haunted her constantly has been changed to a guy, but the necklace has already been hinted as in the movie. We also get the water element each time he shows up like in the movie. The little boy ghost has shown up just as the movie even with the flipped toy cars and clinging to the guy's back. I also don't know why they didn't credit the original writer for the movie since it is the same story just with a few additions and slight changes.

Right! And some characters just stood there waiting to get eaten. Like move already!!

Exactly. Loved the idea and the overall story. Very different take on zombies which I loved but the way they made the characters act, mostly all of them, was just too silly and just for the plot's sake which ruined the movie completely and fast.

I was hoping that was the case because I loved that movie and wished they would make it into a series. Thank you.

Didn't like it. Everyone kept doing dumb things and the only two good characters from the bunch were the sister and brother.

This reminds me of the Korean Movie Spellbound. I loved that movie and I am so ready to see this series. Love the MLs.

I am so curious as to how these crimes are all connected. Is it just the White Diamond that connects them all? It's weird how it keeps turning out like it doesn't.

That spider scene reminds me of the Lost Tomb series 😂 It was creepy. And I agree, love him in this genre.

I'm on episode 5 and I am way more than hooked. My gosh loving it! Our ML is perfection. Missed watching his series, will have to go back and catch up on some of his past works.

I don't think it is a hint at season 2 but if it was, I would gladly take it. I think it was showing a day he took to just live and enjoy life like his sister had wished.

Completely Agree. It was beautiful to see him play a character that was all brains and bravery without the sword. I was shocked with this series, perfection all the way through. Finally! May this series set a groundwork for many amazing works to come.

Was that his one day of regular life he took before his death. OMG that is so sad. I remember his sister had told him that she wanted him to live a regular happy life even if for only one day.

I have 2 episodes left and I don't want to finish this gem. OMG!

I just finished episode 17 and omg that cliffhanger.

I have been so busy lately but finally able to try and catch up. It feels so good having so many episodes that I can watch.
