It's that time of year to rewatch this one. Can't get enough of Cheng Yi, his acting really showed in this series and so happy for all the projects he has done after.
Just finished this one and kicking myself for taking so long to start it. I binge watched it in 3 days and though towards the end once the main bad is revealed I was like catch them already lol the wait was well worth it. Cheng Yi never disappoints, and it was a pleasure to see him on screen, also loved the bromance with his brother. Wish I had such a caring brother like him. The actor who played his brother also did an amazing job. It was great to see many of the other actors take on more serious roles. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend just maybe not binge watch it in 3 days like I did, watch it at a slower pace to really enjoy the story and acting.
Today is mid-autumn festival, QiQi send his postcard greetings!!! Aahhhhh baby's hair so curlyyy!!! SO CUTEEEEEE!!!!!!…
You are too kind to us. I was smiling from ear to ear the entire time I read your comments and clicked on the links. Thank you for sharing them with us.
Just started watching this one too for Cheng Yi. So glad to hear the story gets better after Ep. 3. I just finished…
I'm now on episode 23 and already want to know who the spy is. The suspense is too much but also don't want to finish, enjoying seeing Cheng Yi on screen. I wish he did more modern dramas, miss his short hair.
did he die or not at the end? what kinda bullshit scene is that? did he reborn back into the story??
I rewatched the ending again today and this is what I got the first time and second time I was more certain it was true: He died since he died in the story, but his soul went to the past to the original person the story was based on. He went on to live a life as a martial artist wondering the world as a hero. In the past his boss didn't alter or affect his brother's lives so he didn't have to fight against his 2nd brother thus he didn't die but became a hero like he was supposed to. It might seem like it is his soul wandering since he is wearing white, but he has the music instrument and his sword, so he is alive just now living in the past. In other words, it came full circle, he grew up loving Wuxia stories, and his soul was originally from the past where he returned.
Tbh I prefer Cheng yi as LCZ instead. Aside that he is gorgeous with his white hair, his character is very magnetic.…
He was like a little kid, throwing tantrums, poisoning LCZ just because he thought the pill he gave him after was enough to cure it. And he repeated that cycle happy to have control not knowing he really was killing him. A spoiled child through and through until the truth snapped him out of his insanity even if only for a bit. He was also played by XQS 2nd brother.
But I wanted to ponder on one thing besides all those deaths, the fact that LSF was meant to be used as a life medicine bag. WTF
That is such a cruel practice and how could all those righteous sects let the Tang sect do that to its own members. I finally understand LSF and LCZ. They were all despicable indeed.
Another drama with heartbreaking For a second I hoped that at least Xiao Ming Ming would return to his world,…
The ending could be seen as him going to the past and living a lonely martial arts world. He is no longer in the story or in the present. Someone else said that was his soul wandering the world after death. But I would like to think he is wandering but alive as the real XQS or someone else.
