Anyone know why Off Jumpol wasn't part of this since they have 2 pairings from GMMTV (PondPhuwin & EarthMix) in the show and Gun is in it and usually Off and Gun appear together. Off is also part of GMMTV too. So, I'm just curious if anyone knows. I'm guessing either he had other jobs he was already participating in and couldn't do it, or it's because he recently got covid19 and was recovering, although I thought he'd already recovered?

I agree with what you said about how it's better that they told the backstory with just dialogue instead of a few episodes. But I don't think San was in love with Tharn, I think he was just attracted to him. On the other hand, Tharn definitely wasn't ever in love with San. Tharn said (like you said) San was a very important senior that he trusted and was his first sexual experience but he also said that it didn't turn out well. He's never said anything about loving, falling in love with, or flirting with San. So I don't think Tharn ever flirted, fell in love with or loved him. The only one Tharn ever flirted and fell in love with was Tar before Type.

Well, actually neither Tharn or P'San ever said they were in love with eachother. Tharn said he wanted to try sleeping with a guy and his senior called him into the music room and asked him if he wanted to try with him. And Tharn said yes. But he said it wasn't a good experience since he was the bottom. P'San said he thought Tharn was attractive back then and wanted to sleep with him. But neither one ever said they were in love with eachother and I don't think they even said either of them kissed either. Maybe that's why later on Tharn said to Type, "I'm not sleeping with someone I can't kiss", because it was just sex for P'San.

Mark and Gun (as far as I know) did not quit BL. Perth and Mean have said that they quit BL and Plan also said so too later on I think. However, after the uproar from fans, Perth retracted his previous statement and said this instead.

Perth: I won't be in any new BLs unless my partner is Saint. However, if the script really pulls me in, I may accept the role.

Mean: I won't be in any new BLs unless my partner is Plan.
Plan: I won't be in any new BLs unless my partner is Mean.

So far I haven't heard any current news from them regarding this matter. The only one that changed their previous statement is Perth.

Yeah, I figured that it wasn't Art or Mew who said those things. But the fact that the press brought the matter up at a conference that had nothing to do with that is mind-boggling.

I didn't know Art was a dancer though! It doesn't surprise me that he's good at acting and singing though, most Asian actors tend to be good for some reason. What's interesting to note is that when it comes to Asian vs American actors, almost all Asian actors sing songs either relating to their series/movies or that were actually in them. Almost all American actors don't seem to care about any of that and rarely do so. It's like after they finish filming a movie/series they're like ok done! And then they forget about them. Or at least that's how it seems to me.

Anime also seems to do that, although those are more like character songs that they come up with relating to their characters. It's kind of interesting.

EDIT: O.O I saw CIWYW but never knew that was Art singing!!!! He actually has a really good voice :):) Oh yeah, that reminds me, since you seem to know a lot about BL stuff, I know that CIWYW is based off a real life true story that actually happened. But no one knew what CIWYW was based off of until a week ago when I read that CIWYW is based off the offscreen life of the cast of 2moons and 2moons2. Namely, Bas (who played Wayo in 2moons) and Earth (who played Wayo in 2moons2). Do you know if this is true?

Apparently, some higherup tried to sexually harass Bas but he got away and then tried again with Earth who seemed to not be able to get away. Everyone seems to know that Motive Village is a shitty company that abuses their actors. The worst part was when MV told the actors of 2moons they would be in 2moons2 and then told the fans a brand new cast would happen and the actors from 2moons found out at the same time and were crushed. There's a video interview with Bas actually crying about not being able to play Wayo and hoping the new actor would do a good job.

I could continue to respond to your comments and you could continue to respond to mine with our own views of things but then it would go on forever. So I'm going to take your original advice and stop talking about it for now. We can always communicate off this page if we want to keep talking about it of course. But yeah, I think the whole MewArt scandal was much more than what we fans will ever know. I don't think you know the whole story but then again neither do I. All we have are our opinions from what we've heard and seen. It's all a mess but it's in the past and hopefully people don't keep bringing it up in interviews.

I mean did you see the presscon Mew held when he was accused of plagerism of that music video? The conference was about the plagerism of the music video. Which it seems was totally bogus because as Mew's lawyer stated, there was no plagerism involved. I saw it too and it doesn't seem exactly the same to me. It's just like all the other artists that do covers of the song and yet no one goes after them for some reason, it's just Mew. It had nothing to do with the MewArt scandal. And yet when it seemed as if the press couldn't bring Mew down for the plagerism they brought up the MewArt scandal and something about being accused of sexual harassment, which Mew 100% denied.

WHAT THE FUCK DOES MEWART HAVE TO DO WITH THE PRESS CONFERENCE ADDRESSING PLAGERISM OF THAT SONG?!

Actually, I didn't know about Mew or BL at the time WTD came out. I've only heard and seen videos of what happened and seen comments. I don't really tend to believe things unless they are said by the actors themselves. But I do form opinions based off of what I've seen/heard. However, my opinion is not a fact, the only facts are what the actors themselves have done or said, at least that's how I feel. What I said before was just what I believed but I'm always open to hear new opinions! However, to change my opinion, I'd need to see proof/evidence from the actors themselves regarding the subject content.

Regarding the retraction, I could have sworn I saw a clip of Art saying so himself. I'll have to try and find it again if it's still up but yeah, I only said that because I'd seen it before and it was from Art's mouth, so that's why I believed it. Also, there was a YT clip where Mew literally said he hadn't contacted or seen Art after the incident since then. But then later on, like last year or this year Mew said that he was "on good terms with Art again now." So that kind of implies that he wasn't on good terms with him before, but that now, things are fine.

Since I wasn't watching stuff back when the incident happened, I don't know much about the time, other than what people have said and the clips of both actors talking about it. Regarding the unfollowing and following, there was a fan who posted a screenshot of Mew starting to follow Art again. If he'd never unfollowed Art, then how could he follow Art again? I think he unfollowed him for a time and then started following him again. Maybe it was a spur of the moment kind of thing on Mew's part and he unfollowed because he was mad but then followed again because he regretted it?

Yes. Mew has said before that he did not care about gender. But that doesn't necessarily mean that he's bi or gay. It could just be his view on things. You can say that you don't care about gender when it comes to dating but still be straight. You'd just have open minded ideals. So technically, Mew never said he was bi/gay, he just said that he doesn't have an issue with gender. But what Art revealed kind of outed him, by showing that Mew definitely isn't straight. A lot of people still seem to think Mew is straight for some reason, not sure why. I personally think Mew is bi. But so far there's no evidence to proof one way or another what Mew is, until Mew decides to tell us himself. The closest thing to proof is Art telling us that Mew at least has an interest in guys.

I don't know much about Art. Mostly because I never really saw him in anything other than WTD. I did hear he's in an upcoming series though, so that should be fun to see how he's improved over the years. I mean Mew's improved SO MUCH since then. I always like to see how actors grow and become better. From how you're describing Art, it sounds a lot like how Gun is like. Gun from OffGun.

The things you're talking about regarding the LIVES, are they still up? Because I've never seen those before.

Also you said Mew and Art are still friends, did Mew actually say that in a video clip or did he say "we are on good terms now"? I didn't ever see any video where Mew said that he and Art are still friends.

I think, like you, both are at fault. Mew could have done some of the things you said or he might not have. But Art probably did some things too that were wrong. So, I think both of them were wrong. Then again, both were young and young people constantly make mistakes. It's not until you're older that you start to wisen up. But again, it's in the past and people make mistakes. If what you're saying turns out to be true then I'm glad that both of them are willing to forgive eachother and move on.

The only thing that really bothers me is the whole Art outing Mew thing though. You say he didn't out Mew by talking about the kissing thing because Mew had already spoken about how he doesn't care about gender, but to me that doesn't mean that you're bi/gay. That just means you don't discriminate against genders. It doesn't necessarily mean YOU are bi/gay. But Art saying Mew kissed him, tells the world that he IS bi/gay or at the very least definitely not straight.

In the novel, Ae and Pete were together for awhile but then Trump came back, kidnapped Pete and tried to gang rape him. Ae was able to save him in time and nearly killed Trump but Pete was able to stop him from committing murder. Trump went to jail and Ae and Pete were about to go back home together when Pete's father came and told him to come back home with him. Apparently, Pete's father heard about his kidnapping and didn't trust him to be alone anymore. Pete's father also found out about Ae being Pete's boyfriend and told Pete to break up with Ae. Pete refused. So Pete's father tried to expel Ae from school, mess with Ae's family's restaurant business and did everything he could to make life a living hell for Ae. When Pete begged his father not to do this, he was told to break up with Ae and come back to Germany with his father and go to university there. He also was told not to have any contact with Ae or anyone close to Ae. So, Pete broke up with Ae and went with his dad to protect Ae and his family, only if his father stopped messing with Ae's life. The reason he contacted Tin was because Tin was Pete's friend and not Ae's friend. Later on, once he graduates university, Pete returns to be with Ae.

Regarding Saint. No, the reason Saint wasn't in LBC2 wasn't because Saint was filming another BL series. The reason was that the LBC higherups didn't want him to be part of it. So they waited until he got other jobs and made sure he wouldn't be free, then asked him. Just like fan meetings and events, where Saint was excluded from them, all because he was from a different company. Saint was interviewed before and said if they had asked him to be in LBC2 from the start he would have done so. But since they asked him after he'd accepted jobs for other BLs, he couldn't do it. Of course, he can't very well say bad things about the company to the public, so he came up with a more neutral way of talking about it, like I had another BL series.

I'm not sure whether it's true or not but today there were rumors that P'New (the director) was talking to Perth and Saint's managers about the legal stuff to do Love By Chance 3 with Perth and Saint coming back to resume their roles as Ae and Pete. If it's true, that will be something interesting to see. I'm curious to see if Saint will be able to play Pete again the same way he played him before in LBC.

Also, this is not really a spoiler because S2 does not cover this at all, it's just expected that you will know what has happened from reading the novel. You should really know this information before you start watching S2 or else you will be lost as to what happened with Ae and Pete.

I heard December is when the filming for S2 will be finishing up, so it definitely won't be released this year but I'm guessing it'll probably be released sometime in 2022.

Does anyone know what type of animal Ni Ni is in this? It looks so cute and I want to know if you can get one in the US!!!! It kinda looks like a cross between a flying squirrel and a ferret!

I watched ep 1 and am 1/2 way through ep 2 and so far no there's no romance in it.

Essentially Art was doing fanservice with Mew and Mew was giving Art his real feelings. Mew misunderstood Art's feelings for him. He thought both their feelings were real, but Art was just doing fanservice. It culminated with Mew inviting Art over to his place to stay the night and Art accepted. When they were there, Mew apparently asked if it was alright to kiss him and Art said it was. So Mew kissed him. Soon afterward, apparently Art went on a LIVE and started saying that Mew had kissed him without permission and he felt unhappy. He started to cry too.

Later on, I think Art apologized and said Mew actually had asked him for permission to kiss him before doing so, but that he'd felt obliged to agree because he didn't want to disappoint fans and also because he didn't want to make Mew sad. At the time, both of them seemed to feel betrayed by the other and they both stopped following eachother on social media and didn't talk for ages. A year ago I think they both started following eachother again, but as far as I know they don't really talk to eachother. I think they just want to leave the past where it is and move on with their lives.

I think both of them were at fault. Art for outing Mew (as being at least bi) without his permission (which he said he'd done because he was mad at him at the time but regretted it later) and Mew for having a bit of a temper (Mew's said that in the past when he was younger he had a bit of a temper and since then has cooled down a HUGE amount) and also because Mew couldn't see that Art was only being close to him due to fanservice (It's obvious when you see Art's reactions in yt videos when he's with Mew. There's a video where Mew leans over to kiss him on the cheek or touch his shoulder and Art leans so far away, almost falling over to avoid him. That should have told Mew Art doesn't feel the same way about you as you do to him. Unlike Gulf, who you can tell actually likes Mew).

But like people have said, let's leave the drama in the past where it belongs. Since nothing is going on between them now (I don't think they've had contact since then), we should move on. I say, give everyone 2 chances in life. If they fuck up once, give them a second chance. But if they fuck up again and it's the exact same type of thing, I'm sorry but you've had your second chance, it's obvious you are not going to change. Don't out people who are not out, that's not your right. But it's good Art's being given a second chance, hopefully he learned from his mistake (Like Mew did, as he's a different person from before, and is more calm, collected and in a good emotional space right now) and can proceed and live a good life.

Yeah looks like the straight couples will be Perth, Yacht and Plan.
