Wait, I can't be the only one that though Uea looks so much like Saint. Like the resemblance is uncanny
I literally was wondering if anyone picked up on that. Uea/James looks so much like Saint, I wouldn't be surprised if he turned out to be one of Saint's brothers! I mean he even has a similar name to Saint, his name is "James" Supamongkon Wongwisut. Saint's name is "Saint" Suppapong Udomkaewkanjana. Uea/James is 24 years old and Saint is 25 years old. Saint could be his older brother! He even sounds like Saint sometimes and has some of his mannerisms too!
What is his best drama? I just watched him in moonlight chicken and love his acting 👏
I'd recommend watching the Shipper, Not Me and then Eclipse. Because that way you can get to see how his acting developed and got better and better as time passed! Those 3 were my favorites of his too.
Wtf was that ? I honeslty cringed many times watching that shit.First, the age gap is DISTURBING. Like it's giving…
So I just looked it up online after reading your comment because I was sure that the age of consent and being an adult was a different age from the US. I was surprised to learn that the ages differ depending upon the country. It's so odd to me, since I agree with you, I think you need to be at least 18+ in order to have the age of consent, be an adult etc... but apparently other countries have different laws. So since this was a Japanese series and made in Japan, I guess the laws are different there. Therefore, technically it was not illegal at all according to their country.
The following is copied and pasted from a search I did.
Many Westerners are surprised to learn that the age of consent is 13 in Japan. This topic has been trending this week because the Japanese government made a tentative decision to change the age from 13 to 16. 13 is the age set by Japanese Penal Code.
I can't believe that the age of consent in Japan is 13?! I mean O.O that's way too young imo. I mean 16 is still a bit young, I think 18 or above is way better, like in the US. But Japan isn't the US and it has its own laws. So technically if you go by Japan's laws and age of consent, he was an adult and Minato was breaking no laws by liking him/being with him. HOWEVER, what was strange about this to me is that he acted as if it was wrong, implying that there was some US influence in there too. Because if we were going strictly by just Japan customs, Japan laws, Japan age of consent, Japan's version of how old you have to be in order to be considered an adult, Minato wouldn't have had those feelings because Shin would have been considered an adult, even though he was in high school.
So I think they were combining Japan and US mindsets which resulted in what we got. Thus how I understand how things can be extremely confusing for most people who watch it. Because it does give off mixed signals. I think they could have avoided all this if this had been set in university/college instead because then Shin would have been 18-20 and Minato could still have been the same. But Shin would have been anywhere between 18-21 which would have been much better.
Imo, episode 1 and 2 were really good but then it kind of dragged a bit, like they didn't know where they wanted to go. However, when episode I think 8 came along, that's where it started getting really good again and now I think it's quite enjoyable to watch. Also Jimmy and Sea's chemistry got A LOT better. In the beginning episodes they seemed to have some chemistry but the kissing scenes left a lot to be desired. They didn't look real - the first time Jimmy's character kissed Sea's character, his lips were literally just pressed up against Sea's character's lips. He didn't move his lips at all and neither did Sea's character. I'm not talking about the 'drunk' kiss, I'm talking about the kiss where Jimmy's character literally WANTED to kiss Sea's character. All he did was press his lips up against Sea's characters lips and it was meant to be romantic etc... I totally did not get that at all. It made me think that neither one wanted to kiss the other person. The build up was great but the actual kissing scene was... blah.
HOWEVER, the next time they kissed, they got WAY better, there was actually movement and it looked as if they wanted to kiss eachother this time. Maybe they're just new to acting I guess? Or it takes them awhile to warm up to the other person IRL to get comfortable enough to do it in a way that seems realistic to viewers. But regardless, as time went on, I think they got better at kissing AND got better at acting out their characters too. So I think they did a really great job and really to get better at doing kissing scenes and at acting, all you need is experience. If these two keep doing acting jobs, eventually they will get to be AMAZING actors! I think they already have great potential and you can see how much they've improved throughout the entire series. Just watch from the beginning and see how much they've progressed!
For me, I'd give this series either a 7/10 or an 8/10. Mostly because the acting/kissing scenes weren't awesome 100% of the time in the series and also because the whole alternate universe thing didn't actually get explained as much as I would have liked to see. It seemed as if they forgot about it midway through the series and then remembered and picked it back up again. But even so, it was still pretty enjoyable from the first two episodes and then from episode 8+, thus why I'm giving it a 7 or 8/10. Also, I know a lot of people tended to think that having GMMTV actor cameos in the series was stupid but I loved that aspect! It's nice to see everyone even if it's just a cameo! And it even kind of makes sense too! One of my favorites was Gun's appearance as his character Third from Theory of Love. XD I found it really cool how Third was real and Gun wasn't hahaha!
EDIT: I also kind of wanted to see more about how Tess and Tun acted in Talay and Puen's lives in the other universe at the same time. Either give them their own spin-off or make it into a special episode or something! As I don't see it happening in the last episode. There's not enough time.

I hope the last episode will have some sort of real ending in case there isn't a S2. The worst part about a great series is not having a good ending where things are tied up etc... and then never having a S2.
Is this a prequel to Until We Meet Again? I haven't seen that one yet, but I like to watch stories in chronological…
No, this takes place at the same time as UWMA. They originally wanted WinTeam scenes to be included in UWMA but there wasn't enough time and it focused more on DeanPharm, so they decided to make a spin-off series focusing on WinTeam. The events of Between Us takes place at the same time as UWMA it is NOT a prequel. It's more like the scenes you should have seen in UWMA but didn't because of time crunches and it also seems to be a sequel to UWMA as well in the later part of the series. At least that's what we've been led to believe. It is definitely not a prequel though, so please watch UWMA before you see this.
I cared more for the AI's and machines than the actual humans. The fact that there's machines that can feel love…
So I watched this and I actually have a different opinion of the ending. With the time skip it makes it seem as if Keno and Dob have both disappeared and what's left are the humans. But what if that's wrong? I'm not sure about Keno but about Dob and Bob's personality change, I have an idea that makes some kind of sense. When Dob was being 'uploaded' at the end, I'm thinking that something went wrong there and made that 10% part of Dob actually integrate and mold with Bob. So as a result, Bob became Bob and Dob together and although now Bob is back, his personality changed because of the 10% Dob inside him, so that explains why he's suddenly nice. So technically Dob got what he wanted, the girl in the end, if that makes sense.
If you are in the US or apparently UK you won't be able to watch it because Disney + and Disney + Hotstar are two different subscriptions. You used to be able to get Disney + Hotstar in the US but they cancelled that late last year and now you can't see it at all if you're in the US and the UK and maybe other places. Disney + Hotstar is apparently only available in Thailand or countries near Thailand. So it sucks that it's going to be on Disney + Hotstar since it means you won't be able to watch it. However, there's a chance it might be on GMMTV YT channel and Disney + Hotstar, so that will be good if it is.
'bad results' nopethe ending made quite a lot of sense in the original drama, they gave us this special just so…
Actually I heard that the 'original' ending was this 11 min ep 37 ending. China just wouldn't let it pass due to their censorship. So they were allowed to make it a pay for episode instead, which was accepted. So the 'original' ending included the ep 37 11 min ending, that was the original ending. The ending we got in the series (ep 36) wasn't the original ending, the original ending was cut off due to China. That's why it seemed a little abrupt in the series because it wasn't the actual original ending.
Guys, don't you think it gives the same vibes like 'Shen Sei Gi' and 'Cha Do Hyun' from 'Kill Me Heal Me'?
Yes I agree! Although it was Shin Sei Gi. I didn't realize it until now but I think Shin Sei Gi actually means "New World" as I think that's what the people were saying in that reality-type ish series called New World on US Netflix.
So those thai spoke Chinese in this drama or voice act one?
It says this is a collaboration of Chinese/Thai, so I'm assuming both languages will be spoken. I think Boun does know how to speak Chinese though but I'm not entirely sure.
You probably may know this by now, but the Seo Yeji rumours were disproven and it was found that the actor, JH, company made them up. The actor was struggling to cope mentally, had depression and an eating disorder. The company used that against him in many disturbing ways.
You should delete your comment about Seo Yeji, because people who may see it, will be misinformed on the situation.
I don't know anything about this since I haven't researched but if BunnyLover is right, then people should stop blaming Seo Yeji for something that the company made up to cover up for Kim Jung Hyun's health/mental conditions.
