I think the ML folded a bit too quickly to my liking lol If you think about it- FL is mourning her fiancés passing and he died less than a month ago. According to the ML, she was the culprit to all the deaths and only recently he started believing she might be the victim to someone’s torture. Yes, her name is in the clear in his books for now but she’s still a mourning fiancée. He fell for her too quickly. Facts. Biggest reason I’ve been in the Asian drama wagon for years is that to each beginning there’s an end. How many American shows have I started only for it to be cancelled?...too many. How many shows be airing far too many seasons for no reason?

I was looking for a comment like yours. I felt the jdrama vibes during the flashbacks and was loving every bit of it. There's something about jdramas that i absolutely love and i'm still searching the right words for it. There's something heartwarming and real about their shows. They keep the awkwardness and hesitation of the characters. It seems so real compared to korean dramas where it seems too ''perfect''. Each country has their strength in shows/movies and that's definitely japans strength in dramas.

First time i'm seeing a female lead actually leaving the country with the ml loool breaking the cliche cycle of 1-2 yr seperation plot that's been happening for yearsssss. I'm glad cauz although i don't condone dropping your life for romance but the fact that all these female leads chose to stay and not leave makes it unrealistic.

I had the same exact thought as you. I was wondering if i missed an ep or two because why they cordial. And by ep 4 she already found out he didnt kill her.....theres 40 ep in total. And am i missing something but she got killed by the Su guy but she ACTUALLY ordered his death. The Su guy prob had a hand in it but she made the order.....

I find it hilarious that she has played a couple small roles and no one changed her look for none of her roles looool probably cauz straightening her hair, removing the glasses and putting on some make up will remove the ''illusion'' everyone is currently on and they will ''wake up'' -.-

Love the chemistry between the leads - the ML truly is smitten by her intelligent and charms - and she is also falling for him but i have to say i am surprised by how quick it is. I understand the show is halfway through and the romance needs to start but at the same time i felt like it was too easy?smooth?

I would think she would be mistrusting men or love for a hot minute before understanding that not all men are trash. Especially since it has not been long since her ''murder'' happened. But maybe the hesitation will come when their feelings are addressed and confirmed as of now it's more flirting. Just a thought.

It's kinda funny/cute that before she was the one with the more elegant look and he was fluffy and now it's vice versa loool

Omgggggggggg the airing of these episodes has made my day :) I am one of the fortunate ones that did not wait 5 yrs for the show to air probably 1 and a half yrs? But let me just say it's one of my highest rated shows !!!

I truly hope that the FL sister will receive some type of punishment - she needs to be in a mental institute or have a restraining order against as she's a stalker. People go to jail for such acts >.< But i'm overestimating korean law. I just don't want her behaviour to be brushed under the rug and easily forgiven. I want it to be acknowledged.

Let's not forget when the FL realizes that the ML is her mothers "son" and if they are already in love at that point how much of a mess it would be in the family book because under the mothers name only the ML and his sister is registered and not her (which in that itself is already messy if the FL finds out). SO much drama is waiting for us.

I agree..the female lead played a big role in her own downfall by letting it get this far. She could've fixed this whole mess but she just let go. It was frustrating to watch but i also believe there is a psychological reason. Her own abandonment and her position in her family def affects her decision making. Time apart and healing is def key. I do love a good healing arc so i hope the writers do a good job.

Urgh did they just add a "facial reconstruction surgery" plot and kept the same actress? SMH now we will probably see her around her people and them not even noticing although they have same actresss/face. Also they better not mention her being "plain/ugly" with her "new face". That's a level of cliche that hurts my brain.

I really hope that she does not get amnesia....we are in 2024 that plot is ancient. I rather she takes this as an opportunity to live a new life with a new name.

Only watching this and am consistent because of the main leads! The sister is sick (she needs help), family are a burden and the "boyfriend" is useless. I see the breakup soon and we all know it's because of his parents. I do see our leads gonna go closer soon because a shift will happen as he leaves the hospital to try to arrange his feelings for the FL and she leaves the hospital for a breather (hopefully they end up in the same location because the guy is already smitten it's only the girl that is left to warm up) This drama is unoriginal in it's plot and i see the break up happening when she finds out his "mom" is her mom lool hopefully that is before they get together (but knowing her personality if she learns of this before feelings are developed then they never will be together)

Yes she is but if it was a big age gap they would have mentioned it every 2 sec which they didnt so i'm guessing it's probably 3-4 years. The friend the fl had was 24 (so i'm guessing she's the same age) and he's probably 19-20 years old.
