The mothers in this show are so annoying! Kun's mother is so uncaring and obsessive with making her sons top players! Even after she found out one of her sons tried to kill himself, she didn't stop to reassess her life and try to be more understanding of her sons! Sae Yan seems to be living under an oppressive, controlling, possibly abusive man from whom she's running away to find her real father... she's being chased by gangsters the entire show but no one thinks she might be in danger? And was it so hard for her mother to just say, that man is a criminal, don't look for him?! She was abducted by him and her mother assumed this crazy stalker murderer wouldn't harm his own daughter so didn't call the police because she didn't want her to know he was a criminal? There are so many issues I have with this but right now this is what is making me want to rip my hair out! Should've dropped this long ago, if only Jaejoong wasn't so charming!
Great article! I really dislike the way CEO types abusing their power to bully/manipulate women and toxic behaviour is forgiven or portrayed as romantic.
