Great article, the time and effort you have put into this is evident! Loved the analysis...a villain who is layered and is justifiably flawed is what I look for while watching a villain in a drama so , gender is hardly something I take into consideration personally, but yes I do see many instances where the audience is more forgiving if the villain is good looking. π I haven't really come across too many female villains as a viewer but the next time I do I will be more observant as to how the reception of the character is! Again, loved it, great job! π€
Lovely piece of writing! These types of couples are always the ones I root for as the growth and pace one gets to see in them makes falling in love look so organic...and congratulations on your first article, loved it!
I love your article and how you go and explore deeper motives for villains actions. Very interesting read. I watched…
Thank you for taking the time to read it and am so glad that you liked it...and exactly, if only he hadn't felt as helpless as he did, because someone wasn't doing his job right he wouldn't have gone this far...a complex and well-written character leaves one thinking and has a much greater impact, which makes a drama a lot more memorable so I completely agree! ^^
This is an incredible piece that I thoroughly liked reading. I love that I've seen all of the dramas up there,…
Thank you for taking the time to read it, wow you've seen them all, that's a first I suppose! π€and am so glad you agree with what we had to say...I like SFH so much that words aren't enough to express how much I loved watching it, his descent into madness was done so perfectly that I wish I could see it again as if it were my first time... And yes I do agree that Beom Jin is kinda similar to Hyeok U, he was abused by his father but I had found his story end at a rather inconclusive juncture as he just drops out of school...but gosh I did feel quite bad for him as he was a victim himself. Again, thank you so much for appreciating it! π
my guilty pleasure is hot villians (in shows only bc irl it's scary) w a redemption arc. my childhood crush were…
Ohh from Avatar and Naruto...Have watched Avatar as a kid and I have to say that he had one of the best redemption arcs I have ever seen...the story made me root for him more than I did for Aang, making him one of the best written gray characters out there!
Thank you for taking the time to read the article...and am so glad that you could read it comfortably too!I have…
I had watched it a few years back and had quite enjoyed it...good to know that it gets even better, and doesn't it always start going downhill after season 10...Will surely watch the rest too! :)
Well I haven't watched the original version, but the story seems to be interesting...once I do see it I'll surely revisit your article and will probably understand the casting choices better! Have to say it is a well-written article and that I enjoyed reading it! ^^
