Because he was good in it, not so many young actors want to take historical since it's a hard genre, but rowoon…
Sorry to butt in, rowoon’s first historical drama is The King’s Affection and it is his highest rating work (TV rating wise). That’s why producer love to cast him in historical drama.
I think having the lead actress play someone in her 30s when she's only 23 is ridiculous. That's where they lost…
Maybe they (who write a hate comments here) are rowoon’s hater in the first place. Somehow i find it fishy because they have ‘a drama’ in their currently watching list with exact same rate and same episode watched. And they bother to replying every single comment with ‘melting face’
Idk how others conclude the ending. For me, the manhwa has a happy ending, at the end the king was executed and dead but returned as a girl with the name he gave to the ML when he disguised as a girl. She live with the ML far from the palace. END. We still don't know about the drama, as long as the plot is well writen i don't mind for a sad ending.
Does anyone know where can I read the manhwa? Is it translated in english?
You can check it here https://mangadex.org/chapter/186566/1 but i think rowoon's character described in the synopsis is different from the manhwa. I guess there will be much changes for the drama
I love the 3rd and 4th episodes so much. I really enjoying the series more than i expected. In ep 3 the leads finally have a time to talk to sort the mess they created, i love the way they were apologizing to each other. For me communication is really important in relationship, and they communicate well. ML learning not to interfere FL business without her consent and he keep apoligizing in case she is uncomfortable he will stop. In ep 4 we got to see FL slowly moving on, she is still hurt but yeah live must go on. The ML isn't as annoying as the first 2 episodes. I hope the next episode will get better and better. Their acting and chemistry is *chef's kiss*
