What is with Japanese dramas and illegal age gaps
As long as they're in legal age, so that's still legal wdym?

Cherry Magic didn't have a kiss scene in the show because one of the actor's company did not permit a kissing…
The rumour started from Akaso's hater. The rumour still floating around make me pissed. They know nothing about the company.

Very very cute but why do i feel like the creators of this show and cherry magic are secretly slightly homophobic?…
Nothing like that. It's just depend on what kind of genre you watch. Most of light romcom don't have intimacy scene even for straight (watch hanakimi, ouran host club, mairu no vich etc are straight show and no intimacy at all) if you want intimate scene i recommend the novelist/pornografer

I'm afraid that's because of homophobia. Japan is quite a conservative country, so the companies tend to think…
That rumour is lie, i followed most of the actors of the company though, their toptier actors did sensual scene with man, if they forbid it they whould did it to every actors without exception. There's no such rule in the company to be honest

Forgive my ignorance, but is a lack of intimacy / affection a Japanese BL trope? I've seen Cherry Magic, Kieta…
Japanese society overall is very shy outside, they just don't like PDA or other public intimacy, to have such scene on drama, they should put the show in midnight to avoid children viewer. but it different in private though.

I guaranteed you that rumour totally a lie. I follow the company's actor, they are open to any kind of acting and other actors in the company does kissing men even does sensual scene, example tanaka kei on ossan love and ayano goh on Ikari. It's nonsense they just forbid one of their actor. The decision is from the director and television itself.

Yeah, I find it a bit homophobic how they tried really hard to avoid any intimacy as if it was something bad.
That's not the case, this drama is aired on national television, that's why. Because no everyone in society used to see intimacy between two male, also the rating is not R-18.

btw, is MDL misleading? i read everywhere that CM is Akaso's first solo lead, so he's the only main role here..as in every award, he nominated as best actor and the others is just supporting actors
the more i learn about Akaso-kun, the more he captures my heart. His personality is warm, cheerful, friendly, and easy-going. His junior and his Senior love him. his character 180° different with Adachi. He did his best to be an introvert until i thought he's truly Adachi, but no, he's pure extrovert. His acting is something, his range from Nagase to banjo, from Hirayama to Adachi. I heard he shoot for coldcase3 before CM. I hope he deserve an award and new role more.

i'm so sad that they got inconsiderate hate comment
