Since you said “ Episode 4, ML and FL lock up a potential suspect under isolated quarantine because their justification was that the suspect went into contact with the drug distributors. Okay, fair enough. Then, what happens next? The surrounding apartment complex owners use THE SAME LOGIC to quarantine the entire building that ML and FL were in, but how does show respond to this scenario? They make the neighbors seem like total douchebags by having them repeat their concerns about the property value in a caricature-like manner“ so I thought you were criticising the characters since imo their decisions made sense cause they locked the gym trainer because he was drinking a lot of water, got angry and overall acting sus whereas the other residents only locked them up cause they were rentals and they purely used the “ you guys had the first zombie” as an excuse since they mentioned that after saying their taxes let them stay there and they could’ve just put that specific building on lockdown the moment they had the first zombie if they wanted to. So the Main leads breaking down the door makes sense plus them staying in would make more sense since the FL and ML know the official residents would have more zombies since they mostly took the pills from the gym but they didn’t want that cause it’s unfair to lock them up plus we get to see how the FL’s personality is impulsive. But then you said how that’s not what you meant and I re read it and saw you were criticising the director for their choice of music so I think the examples you gave made me misunderstandon what you were trying to say and we just had different views on the situation tbvh so it doesn’t matter since we had a completely diff interpretation of the scene.

Lol but I feel like me noticing the hypocrisy of main leads make it more realistic cause in a situation like this irl we would all wanna act like we care for everyone around us but truly we will only prioritise ourselves and people we care about. Plus it helps me understand the character more ig 😭

Ep 4 was so good, and I am glad the main leads aren’t trying to go around and save all the people cause that’s not humanly possible and them not saving the dude in ep 4 when he got bit was honestly realistic asf cause irl no one would do it, i won’t lie if I say the writer didn’t make them save him cause like most apocalyptic movies always has that hero vibes character that tries to save everyone lol but it completely made sense. I hope it continues stay realistic to how people would be in real life and yea so freaking excited for ep 5 😭😭

Ohhh ok now I get your point thxs for clearing. Cause the main leads haven’t been shown heroic at all imo since even in ep 4 when they saw a dude getting infected they could’ve helped but they didn’t which makes sense cause realistically no one would. About the director trying to portray them herioc honestly I don’t pay that much attention on when they play music and things but when the FL did pull out the gun only the kid praised it but the other police officer said that you shouldn’t do that when you grow up. Either way I respect your opinions cause we all have different views when we watch a show and since I don’t pay too much attention to details like music maybe that’s why I didn’t catch it.

Lol I wasn’t even hating on you or saying anything insulting I just said my opinion, plus the reason I said that person writes well cause they commented under my comment as well and they write well simple. If you’re going to be rude then ofc no one will even wanna hear your opinion, plus if you aren’t criticising their moral qualities then what are you criticising?? That they put music behind the stuff main characters did which if someone else would’ve done would be considered bad? Well since they’re the main characters ofc they will put music behind it weather what they’re doing is good or bad cause that’s how it works since the show is in their perspective so to them what they did is cool but ofc not everyone in the room thinks the same. Yo you write so well. But I agree like if a character makes a decisions according to how they are then there’s absolutely nothing wrong. All the decisions made by the characters so far have been according to their personalities. Like them being hypocrites to me actual makes sense cause that’s how their personality was shown throughout.
Take the situation of how the FL went into the truck to save her friend from the zombies but in doing that she put put a lot of people at risk cause the zombies could’ve escaped, but then she proceeds to get mad at tae seok for not taking proper care of the zombies cause they’re still humans but in his perspective he’s doing it to save his own family. And even the ML lead said if this was your own family you wouldn’t have done this but he never got mad at the FL because in his perspective she was doing something right which she wasn’t and that was the point cause it goes to show how hypocritical every one is at the time of danger for their own people.
So at the end of the day the show is just trying to show how people will always prioritise their own first now matter what situation and the same goes for the main leads. People ISTG gotta watch a show without trying to hunt for flaws that don’t exist. If the writing is bad it’ll be evident later on people ain’t gotta do a scavenger for it.
