That was the most beautiful ending ever! Honestly, I wasn't even planning on watching this show but somehow gave it a try out of boredom. I am so glad I did or else I would've missed so much. Thank you Lovely Runner for bringing me all the happiness in these 8 weeks and making my Mondays so enjoyable!!💖
AoS had a great potential but got wasted because of the amount of filler scenes it had. 3 or 4 episodes do not even contribute anything to the story. The 1st half certainly was much better. Towards the end, it became predictable, draggy and is full of plot holes.
- The king suddenly became so cruel that he wanted to kill a person to see the ice stone's power. -The Buyeon reveal hasn't happened yet.
-Choyeon and Dangu found out about everything so conveniently. I at least expected some intense fight scenes between them and CY's father.
-Jin mu reveal felt very quick and unsatisfying. How did he even escape after that?
-The most disappointing thing about this drama for me is surely the way they have been handling CP's character. He was shown to be such a smart guy who didn't even shy away from doubting the queen but now he's suddenly become power hungry and is trusting Jinmu.
- How did Naksu run wild when she was always protected by Buyeon's soul?
- The sudden shift in Mudeok/Naksu's character felt so unconvincing. Her main goal was always to regain her powers. Even in ep 18/19, we can see how she still wanted to shift her soul into a stronger body. But in the last episode, she forgot all her goals and is ready to marry Uk and stay with him.
Nevertheless, I am still excited for Season 2 and see what they are gonna do with the story
Soojin is an antagonist in the source material. But they made her more likeable in the drama and her relationship…
I actually didn't read the webtoon. I read somewhere that Soojin is a normal character in the webtoon. So, i thought that this is happening only in the drama.
I didn't expect any great story from this show but now it's getting really annoying. I'm enjoying everything else expect the love triangle. And... why did they have to turn Soojin into an antagonist? I wanted Suho and Ju Kyung to break up but not at the expense of Soojin becoming a bitch. I'm not sure if I'll continue watching it.
