A low budget bl c-drama has 20k watchers and outdoing even high budget straight c-dramas 😂 no wonder homophobic straight c-dramas fans are so scared and stirring up rumours and hate lmao
After reading much reviews and waiting since Episode 1, I have decided to skip on this drama and not watch any episodes at all. Things I dislike in a romance drama. 1. When the main lead feels like a second option for the other lead after getting rejected. 2. Shoving everything in the last episode as lazy writing. 3. Very little development between the main leads as I can't feel their chemistry.
I haven't started on this series yet cause of the trailer and the story change. I was holding until episode 6. I do keep up with all the reactions and tweets from each episodes. Seems like it's a skip? I think I will still wait for episode 6 and if the story is still not going anywhere I will probably skip.
I totally understand people's concerns. For a straight person, it might not be a big deal but I understand why any type of queer erasure can be concerning. For eg, I wouldn't like it if they changed a strong bulky female character to a male just because their reasoning is that it is more natural and relates to real world. I think the best way to tackle the concern is to not watch the drama now and wait for few more episodes to air or maybe binge it after it is completely done airing. Read the reviews before deciding. Thats what I am gonna do I think.
People want Day to stay blind for their own satisfaction. Now, ask them this : if they were blind, would they…
If someone is bored that a blind person is able to see again, that is wild honestly. I don't know what these people are smoking that only wants Day to remain blind and will take any other alternatives as inferior.
What Day is feeling towards Night is realistic to me. If your good for nothing drunkass sibling who is always causing trouble and partying and you have to clear their mess and pick them up always and in an accident YOU get the bad luck of losing your eye sight cause you had to pick them up there is obviously going to be some resentment and bitterness. Like "why me? I have always worked hard, was close to having a career path and caused no trouble to my single parent". Yes, he shouldn't have looked back to his puking sibling while driving but that doesn't take away his bitterness. Going blind is crazily scary. Day and Night's relationship was already straining before this accident. This just pushed it more. I am sure their relationship will be better by the end of the show. As, Day's character development and acceptance to him going blind is flourishing so greatly in this show.
I liked the episode overall. But, I agree the 2nd half was much more stronger and better. The first had filler scenes. Like, the flashback to Kuea making noodles and conversation between Kuea and Diao can be unnecessarily longer than needed to be. But, I understand they need those sponsors to make the series this grand looking. And, they are also able to provide this series free in 4K on Youtube due to that. And, thats why I can let go of those nitpicks. Still a very enjoyable show. Way better than 1st and 2nd episodes of a huge number of other Thai BLs.
I wonder if they are twins. They look sort of similar. Although, they added older sister in the sub. But in Korea, even twins 1 min apart will call the older one noona.
Let me just clarify the whole Jaeyoung is a stalker point that people keep bringing up cause it isn't entirely…
Yeah! Jaeyoung already looked into that room. He and his female friend talked about that room in the first episode before he even met Sangwoo. And, like you said in Episode 2 around 4:59 mark, Jaeyoung said the room was better than expected and he got an another surprise while moving in.
I am liking the acting so far. Now, I am waiting on how they will handle the plot. If it goes in the direction of, 'I am not gay, I just like you' then, personally imma rate this 1/10. C'mon we have passed that. But, you know if he slowly realises that he might be into men as well and the story and acting remains good through out then I think imma rate this higher.
but they are not in a real relationship though. And honestly, I don't get what does 17 and 20 difference to 18 and 21 difference would make for an actor and their acting.
I honestly think people should wait. Seems unjust to rate a whole series based on just 2 episodes out. Maybe just rate the first 2 episodes through the episode guide. Then, rate the whole series when it is completed. Utsukushii Kare, for example was not that great at the beginning for me but it did a 360 turn later in just 2 episodes. And, this has 8/10 episodes left.
Watch it free on Bilibili legally with a VPN from SEA(Like Philippines or Thailand). The episodes always come out subbed and way faster than Viki. Y'all better not be complaining about how short Korean BLs are, and then watch these shows illegally. This is a free way to support so do it.
I don't know how to feel about this. I liked the first episode when I watched it few weeks ago. 2nd wasn't bad either. But, episode 4 today was all over the place for me. I don't know what it was but I felt awkward watching it just now. I like the cinematography of the series but something about the characters now isn't clicking to me.
