well it depends on how you see bromance in media. for me any close friendship between guys can be "bromance", but the level of intensity might differ from one instance to another. i would say there's some level of bromance in weak hero, because the friendship between Sieun and the boys (in both seasons) is definitely one of the prominent aspects of the show. so to me "pure friendship" as you call it and bromance basically meant the same thing. though in the end ig it's just a matter of perspective

some of the comments were something else lol. so apparently everyone who loves this show are fujoshi? just because you're so dumb and lacking media literacy to understand a story doesn't mean everyone else is the same. i watched this and the bromance was tame as hell, doesn't even feel like it matters much other than adding depth to the characters. i get that your tiktok brains can't handle a rather slow paced drama but this show is not just for the shippers to ship, it has actual theme and plot other than the story about their friendship. I'm pretty sure there's more violence than sweet moments between friends in this so no, people are not giving this a high rating only for the bromance

finished it couple of days ago and now im missing the main characters (especially shin) despite me not liking the show that much as a whole lol (really just kept on watching because i wanted to see where it was going with the two main "bros") and it's hard not to get attached to some of the characters after 16 episodes. also there was a lot "aura farming" in the show but nani was so good at it i just can't get enough lol

i just had to comment here after seeing someone just insulted people who actually love this drama. like this jerk seem to be REALLY bothered that people like this one. i mean I'm sure there's a reason why people love this show despite whatever flaw you think it has but ofc your taste is superior and that everyone else is just dumb

is this extremely gory? can a squeamish person watch it? I'm intrigued but I'm really bad with gore

same, I actually like to see more non-romance centered BL too. in my original comment i said "wish it was BL" but i meant that i wish it wasn't hetero romance instead (i also just said that out of spite (⁠｡⁠•̀⁠ᴗ⁠-⁠)⁠✧
