This is my first time seeing such a hated FL lmao. How bad is her acting/character that y'all are talking about…
she's not terrible, but her delivery is flat. ppl like flashy female leads over not impressive ones. so they are pissed bc they think she's Taeoh's love interest instead of everyone's favorite huiju.
The plot is really interesting and the storytelling is very captive but why love triangle??? There's really no…
It's not a love triangle when two of them give up on the relationship. Hyewon chose Inha and Taeoh gave up a long time ago (10 years have passed). Taeoh and Hyewon are pretty much good acquaintances that used to have a crush on each other.
I don't think any of us are actively "wishing" for romance, I think instead most of us would be satisfied with…
You guys are always black or white. It's tiresome to discuss things this way. You're right, the writer sucks and I shouldn't mind at all giving my opinion. Good shipping!

I still think it's a valid distraction though. Ngl it bothers me when a drama has no traces of love dynamics when this is simply the most natural thing in real life. again, the story still has much more to offer to those who are willing to watch from a different perspective. it's just that nowadays ppl tend to focus on one thing only, I'm just here to divert things a little. you see, the writer is not bad bc the script is not 100% about politics. It's a good puzzle so far.

Perhaps the writer wants to distract us, yes. I'm not saying ppl are wrong for shipping, I'm just saying ppl caring more about the shipping than the story is not beneficial to anyone. I've seen ppl saying they will drop or not even watch the drama bc of a triangle that doesn't really work like that haha yes, heejin and jaewook have great chemistry that's why we all getting 2nd fl syndrome. anyways, the thing is all the love dynamics are there to create noise and confuse the audience. they don't focus enough on the romance for me so the show is still very much about the power struggle.
Exactly. But then the question becomes is this a story where the underdogs win (ie: we're meant to root for them…
That's a good question. If the tag noir is accurate, then we'll probably have a bittersweet ending. Perhaps the underdogs get mostly what they want but the end up with lots of regrets. We'll see.
I think ppl will benefit more of the story if we watch this as it is: NOT a romance story. I know it's natural to ship even when the story is not about it, but ppl are legit discarding everything else and focusing only on who they want to be the end game. I also have a 2nd female lead syndrome for huiju but I'm still super curious about everybody's role in the game.
someone convince the producers please
