Not every drama makes the leads fall in love, but this drama has romance in it so, of course, they would focus on that. We have two selfish leads, which might prevent that predictable ending of yours from happening. FL is still snarky and cold, every time Uk brings feelings to the conversation she deflects.

The way they build the world and develop the story is quite refreshing. The writers are VERY unserious, you'll see them mocking cliches left and right. Most characters are endearing. Jang Uk is a multi-dimensional character, far from the boring rude, or too goody MLs you'll find in dramas.
Binge watching may affect the way you absorb the hints to the plot (there's a lot of information for us who like theories), but I re-watched most of the episodes already just for fun hahaha the re-watch value is outstanding!

I think Naksu isn't training because 1) the body she's in has little energy 2) she's a maid now, she has duties 3) energy imbalance is a problem for soul shifters, so maybe she's cautious about that. She did risk herself sometimes, but maybe that was just muscle memory.
Another great thing about Naksu as Mudeok is that she's a soft power master. You'll see how she gets all the great families' successors to protect and help her. It's entertaining to see haha

There's 1 commented recap episode by some Korean youtuber, and a special episode with the cast reacting to CGI/bloopers/behind the scenes stuff. You can find the raw version on dramacool, but there's no eng subtitles yet.

The director/writers focus on the characters rather than the plot, so you get more interaction scenes than intrigue or action scenes. But that doesn't mean nothing is happening haha This is a multi-genre show, it's hard to portray everything all the time. I'm into theories and semiotics, also Lee Jaewook is my favorite actor, so this show is a blast for me. As they said in the first episode, this is the story of the mages of Daeho, so maybe focusing on the characters is the right approach.

I am thouroughly enjoying the show since the beginning, so it's hard for me to understand your lack of excitement. Do you need help with something? Maybe some tips might ignite your interest in the show.

Second season was linear, it's a friendlier approach haha I like complicated/messed up timelines so I enjoyed season 1 as well dhsuihdiush

I love Loki, but he was too soft on the series, the rest of the plot was interesting. Moon Knight is so good, I highly recommend. Especially if you like Egyptian mythology. It was funnier than I expected, Oscar is such a good actor, the action scenes are thrilling.

Oh but it's so good, it's worth the wait hahaha season 2 was btter than season 1, so they can take their sweet time to come back with another amazing arc xD

I just hope Loki's season 2 is better than the first one because his character was kinda inconsistent that season. Oscar Isaac kind of hinted at Moon Knight's return, so that's another one to look forward to 🤧
