You’re putting expectations on other people e.g., the people you claim to have showed his pictures, videos, etc. You’re also putting expectations on Xiao Zhan as an actor to make you feel a type way. That’s not his job. He’s a working adult doing what he’s supposed to do. He doesn’t need to appear in shows and red carpets for us to have something to talk about. We don’t like him expecting other people to understand or even feel the same way. We appreciate the little snippets. Hungrily but patiently waiting for his works to be released. It’s not what he does that attracts us to him it’s who he is. He could decide to leave the entertainment world and open a bakery for all we care and we would still love him.
