Umm...I think you misunderstood what's going. She didn't died but Feng Xi did died because of her not trusting Feng Xi and messed up his plan to trap Lu Yuan Tang. The reason why she no longer in urgency to kill Lu Yuan Tang after 2nd time returning to the past is that she now knows Feng Xi is not really helping Lu Yuan Tang but instead is secretly setting up spies and trying stop Lu Yuan Tang himself. That's why she is now fully trusted Feng Xi after her second returns,
