Idk why, but it’s a hard watch for me. I’m trying to like it but there’s literally nothing enjoyable about it. It’s such a shame bcz these actors are some of the finest in the industry, yet the show doesn’t even try to utilize their talent. The production also feels lacking compared to other dramas. But even if we ignore that, the character arcs are more or less the same, with only a few differing traits(like one of them is impatient, other is a bit carefree, one is a comic relief). It’s like everyone is just depressed and miserable. Idk man, gimme some Mary Sue shit, Idc, just gimme someone worth rooting for.
Revenged Love aired safely cause it was produced from a Taiwanese studio and it wasn't available in China, same…
I mean it's already heavily censored. What else are they so afraid of? I'm pretty sure the drama is going to be a hit regardless, just like the untamed, if not more.
Okay, since I finished it, here are my two cents. This is definitely a good drama but not a great one, unless cinematography and acting are all you're looking for. I absolutely loved the music, the cinematography (lighting, camera work, editing ...all of it), the way the music was paced with the story, and of course, the acting. Satoh Takeru is too good, ahhhh. Now, the parts that could’ve been better: The romance. It only makes up about 10% of the drama, but even then, it lacked substance( Hated the unnecessary love triangle tbh) The pacing of the romance made it worse ... it was already underwhelming, and then rushed. The ending felt abrupt and openended, which I personally didn’t like. There was little to no character development (especially akane chan), and the bandmates barely had any depth. You get just enough to recognize them, but not enough to care deeply. So, if you’re planning to watch it, know this: it’s 90% about music. Even the remaining bits ( romance, bromance, rivalry) revolve around music. Visually, it’s stunning. The music is genuinely good. But if you’re expecting layered character arcs or a deep emotional payoff outside of music, temper your expectations.
finally a cdrama i'm addicted to after love between fairy and devil
