what rating is so low for this show, it should be near 9. it's one the best shows of 2025 so far.
It's actually pretty good compared to the ridiculously rated dramas we've had this year. I'd also say it's one of the best K-dramas this year.

Omg I love this arc so much I'm gonna cry!! Working hard for your dreams and going from rags to riches has always been fascinating to me.
What's even more empowering is the fact that their brand is entirely women lead!!!

Atp, Idt I’d be satisfied if they ended up together. The ml can regret his actions or try to win her back but that doesn’t suddenly make him a good person. He would still be the same guy who exploits others for his own selfish gain. I’m just not convinced he can transform into a completely different person. The sheer extent of the lies and manipulation he’s shown is almost impressive, so much so that I can’t expect anything else from him. Basic respect and empathy toward others aren’t qualities you develop only after making mistakes, they should exist inherently. Sadly he came with a factory defect. And even now, this dude shows no genuine remorse. Instead of reflecting on his actions, he simply wants her back without changing a thing, as the "ideal wife" he envisions. Unlike our fl, this dude has no accountability and no sense of responsibility for the things he did. Idt he should be given a second chance to begin with. I bet no sane person will want to associate themselves with him let alone give another chance.

A morally grey person who has been able to calculate people's next moves all this life meets someone who finally…
Ikr!! It’ll be interesting to see his downfall and how he learns from his mistakes. His character lowkey has more depth than the fl's, given the lesser screentime he’s had compared to her.

I can tolerate Feng Lei to some extent, but this Hao Ming *eye twitches*... Anyway, I think his arrogance and his belief in his power over her are going to make him fall headfirst. We know the FL is strong, and she knows she’s strong, but this ML is seriously underestimating her. Like dude, you’re going to seriously regret messing with her. I really want to see the look of remorse on his pretty face. It’s going to be so satisfying.
But honestly, I wonder if he can ever really be forgiven for using people and their feelings for his own benefit to this extent. The guy isn't even that desperate to begin with.
I’m really curious to see how they’ll execute the upcoming episodes.

Why though? People can only make decision based on what they've seen. As more info come out, opinions naturally…
Exactly, you can’t dislike someone for what they might do, you go off what’s shown. And what’s shown here is the ML being manipulative as hell, not some misunderstood sunshine boy. That’s why I find it wild that people are already excusing his behavior when the story is literally making it so obvious. That’s the part I’m worried about, not future plot twists. And that's the reason I love the show, it's interesting and, like you said, keeps us guessing.

Guys, I think we’re not fully realizing just how much of a red flag the ML actually is. What makes it even scarier is that he isn’t upfront about it. He’s like one of those typical rich guys with power irl who can literally make or break your future. And the funny thing is he knows he is being manipulative and shit and still has no remorse whatsoever. He first off has a weird dynamic going around with the fl and his ex or whatever. For me, the perfect ending would be for the FL to leave him and stand on her own which, thankfully, she’s doing a great job at so far. Don’t get me wrong, the chemistry is definitely there, but it’s toxic and manipulative, and the fl is better off alone. But, we signed for this so might as well enjoy the sheer manipulation game.

The the old guy is definitely not dead because if he was, they would've showed us the scene where he actually shot himself along with his dead body. Also, they would've allowed her to atleast look at him after he shot himself, which they didn't and only the lawyer knows what happened in the room. The old guy and the lawyer are definitely hiding the real plan from her.

I understand why she is running. Because of the drama plot. But in real life, she doesn't have to. She has safe…
Um... That's the whole point. The reason they're doing this is to find the evidence for the murder. If they save themselves or rather hide in a fortress, away from the real culprits, nothing's gonna change and they'll never get their revenge.

I think theyll go vincenzo route with the romance, like its there but not really
That would make it a lot better ngl. I hope they don't ruin it by making romance like the main plot.

Even though the plot is cliché, it’s so well written and executed. The pacing is ridiculously good. I’m getting chills and the ultimate thriller vibe from this, even though we’re just one episode in. I wonder how they’ll execute the romance, that will really make or break the series for me. As for the acting, Yeo Been has always been a strong actor, so I’m not surprised. I'm not convinced about her being a bodyguard lol but we'll see. The side characters are also really fleshed out from what they've shown so far. I'm hyped!!

two things can be true at once. the games were still great, but people are allowed to say that the way they wrote…
The only questionable thing Usagi did was going back to Borderlands, and yeah, that’s a fair point to criticize. They could have polished the reason and gave her a bigger motivation to return. But I don’t think it’s enough to call her entire character dogshit. In every game this season, she was still the same badass who is brave, kind, and ridiculously strong, just like in the earlier seasons. So while I get why the reason for her return felt lame, I don’t think it ruined her arc or the season as a whole. To each their own, though.
