She wants to do exactly as her revered father did and what she thinks he would have wanted and done. Changing anything is probably heresy and heartbreaking to her as it would mean admitting her father might have made mistakes.

Dad was a wonderful honest man though. He would not have cheated on his wife much less let the subsequent child grow up presumably in poverty to work as a bar girl. He clearly adored Da Li and took care of his “adopted” son.

I mean… there has got to be more than that as Kim Da Li should have been more than suitable with her illustrious family, education and at the time wealth Or else they would not have been allowed to date much less get engaged in the first place. We know of no scandal or black mark on her personally either.

If TJ starts pulling throwing weight/influence around and threatening Moo Hak’s family business now to get him to leave… 1) he would be an Idiot because then for damn sure he would never have Da Li and 2) Moo Hak is from the streets. He will find a way to keep what’s his.

But they may pleasantly surprise us by have both the guys and possibly Won Tak work together to uncover the real threat to the museum and the real evil doers.

He maybe her adoring Protective puppy but he is still at the end of the day a shrewd business man and still bluntly honest when need be. But she can take it and give it back :) Sugar coating won’t save her gallery .

Weird editing this episode… one scene DL and TJ are in his car having a conversation in broad daylight and the next one it night and he is literally dragging her into their old newlywed pad.

TJ must have done something really great to capture her heart back then. You’d think every young man of her class would have been all over each other chasing such an exquisite,brilliant, rich, well bred and kind girl like Dali LOL

Because she puts on a Nobel perfect demure lady persona out of habit, training and expectation. When she is truly comfortable with a person or pushed she puts her guard down Like when she pigged out on the meal or fought the robber.

I think he is basically a good person just obsessed and more than a little condescending and entitled. The villains in this are the horrible cousin, stepbrother and maybe the politician.

Yeah. It’s just a lot of filler with some cute moments. Next weeks looks very fun though.
