One of my top dramas! Both ML and FL are so well characterized. Powerful MLs are usually so dull and boring but XZ is a shameless, scheming, calculating but loyal divine slut with the best comedic timing. FL complements him so well being so strong and soft at the same time. This is so hard to top and the withdrawal syndrome will be so harddd.

Enjoying this drama so far. Just annoyed that the FL is a pushover. If she grows a backbone, this would be perfect.

It's finally here!! But I watched all 8 episodes already. This drama is torture T_T

binged the show in 1 day T_T it's great actually because of the chemistry of the main leads plus the friend is hot, but in ep 8 the show lost its momentum for me. great watch though.

It's a given that the ML and FL are great characters, but my favorite would be the prime minister, Wang Lin. He's just so cool and seldom gets angry (did he get angry?) and is very clever. And I agree with his son's statement that the best thing he did in his life was deciding on the marriage of the FL.

Watched them both in different historical dramas. They'd surely kill it in another historical project. Love love these two <3

Ronghao is also a great villain because he's just so intelligent and crafty (and loyal and willing to do very evil things for love). I believe also that he genuinely cares for CH. +Them showing him playing the flute as a child in the snow is heartbreaking.

I love that DFQC remains a petty bad boy despite regaining his feelings T__T a lot of male leads become less interesting after falling for the MC but not DFQC. And that grab + kiss + while holding hands = that's demon lord for you!
