i thought dongkyu couldn't get any worse but ep 8-9 proved me wrong.
first off, let's set aside the fact that he changed his feelings ever so quickly, not really convinced how easily he can switch feelings unless he's an opportunistic jerk taking advantage of both girls, but alright assuming arguendo that his changed feelings is valid because of the setup they ended up with and that it was out of his control, the biggest issue here is how he treated nozomi after his samyupsal date with rio and the succeeding events. It was so shitty of him to lie and then completely ignore her like she wasn't existing. If it weren't for nozomi initiating their talk, he wouldn't have the balls to be honest with her and talk to her. He just ghosted her. He discarded her without any explanation whatsover when he realized he's better off with rio. If you're gonna move on to someone new, the least you could do is tie loose ends. Clear things up with nozomi rather than straight up avoiding her and make her feel unwanted. It was his doing in the first place, he made her feel that he was interested and he made her feel special and all of a sudden drop her. He wasn't even sorry for his actions, he's too insensitive and worse, he couldn't act professionally. All he had to do was to act the part but he couldn't even do that. So what's the point of being an actor if he can't even do that. Worst of all, he's unnecessarily rude and unkind to nozomi in between takes, even for old times' sake, they were together for 4/6 auditions, the least he could do is treat her as a friend or even as co-actor, but no he decided to be an asshole altogether. I wouldn't blame nozomi if she even questioned if their memories together even real. He can't even be a decent human being.
this drama deserves more hype.
