I would say a gap of 5 years, and he was clearly 18 at the moment (which in a relationship is not that much of a problem as some people say). That's why HJP not having a crush on her back then makes sense. I think that he started to like the person she was in the present.

Oh yeah, TKEM was not a good drama. Start Up is a lot better.And yes, terribly predictable and cliché unfortunately.
I couldn't end TKEM because it was so boring and dropped around ep 5. With Startup I didn't drop it because they kept feeding us false hope, that's why the last 2 episodes hit harder and the ending disappointment was bigger. I would rate Startup lower just because they played with our feelings. I'd rather have a boring drama than one that misleads you lol

It was a one man show. HJP was so far the best character with the best development. KSH got pretty famous so yeah, DS/DM are his side chicks.
