The story was pretty slow for me, for the first half of the episode the development only happened in one part but didn't really progress. I don't even know how to say it. I think the story started to feel 'fun' from episode 8.
For acting, it is undeniable for those who are acting for the first time they look awkward. The 3 main characters (Ryok, Maha, and Lalima) are very good, for Yujin his expression is quite good but his vocalization is monotonous and restrained, so it sounds unnatural. Hyuk, Dojin, Jaewoo and Lee Hyun are also good. Hyunji is still quite awkward for me but she acts crying well, Ria is good even though some scenes are a bit unnatural. Hyunoh is a bit awkward but he can bring his character to be so annoying, that's good. Minsoo and Seyoung didn't have too many scenes, but I didn't see too much of a problem with the acting.
Is it worth to watch?
Well, if you feel okay with slow plot. try to watch it.
I'm not a fan of romance drama but i can watch this cheesy romance because its cute and funny lol. even tho sometimes i've feel kinda cringy, but that's not a big deal to me.
The best character development goes to the one who get hates by everyone from the first two episode~

omg episode 4 literally show how sassy and savage Lalima on the whole drama and then she become hurt, lonely, and sad on the epilogue. what a roller coaster ride.. and i can feel her pain just by looking at her eyes,,,

when jiyeon still teenager (15y.o) she's kinda looks like kth. after a long time she has her own charm and knetz realize it. fortunately, now knetz didn't hate her as much as before anymore. they're even support and praising her

yeah, you're right. kth is kim tae hee, jiyeon get called 'little kim tae hee' because of their resemblance even before she officially debut with t-ara, but she got so much hate from knetz back then.

Actually Imitation's time slot was supposed to be YooHeeyeol Sketchbook, and as we can see YH Sketchbook with those time slot also get under 2% rating. The highest rating of YHSketchbook was 2% on this time slot, even they got 0.8%. So, i think KBS need to change the time slot for Imitation. Because they give this drama rate 15+, although i saw on some platform it says PG-13, 11.20KST time slot is too late. This is teen drama but they put it at almost midnight, and one episode will end at midnight. How come KBS didn't aware?

it's kinda sad that the first episode has low rating, i hope it'll increase next week.
