I love the way the relationship between Zi Gu, Noble Consort Yin and the Emperor is written. This is actually the first time I am watching a series where that man is the emperor and I don't hate him 😂 I hope it will not change shaa
The chemistry between Jing He and Mei Lin is literally oozing 🥺 They are a perfect match! That sleep scene and the morning scene right after was so cute😭
I do not wish for Luomei to marry anyone from the Royal family. Doing that means she'll have to leave the military life and become a stay at home caged wife. I would rather she marry someone she can take back to the camp with her. I hate when women are forced or made to leave their dreams, aspirations and career just for the sake of being a wife.
I don't understand. I seriously don't get it and I am so annoyed because wdym this is only going to me 32 episodes? Why? Why? Why not 40 episodes? This is the problem I have with dark romance Cdramas. They did this with My Journey To You and now this one. 32 episodes won't be enough 😭
Saw a comment that said this is better compared to Go Ahead. I didn't wanna say anything about this drama but after watching the first two episodes and after seeing the posts people make about it on FB and X, I just want to say this...
Go Ahead will always be superior. It seems like the focus will be shifted to romance which isn't the major thing in their story. Romance in Go Ahead was even towards the end, it wasn't the focus. Go Ahead is all about family ties and strong relationships. Filal piety and friendships that stand the test of time.
I fear that Family By Choice will never be able to replicate that.
Many of them is even watching it for Hwang In Yeop. When Go Ahead came out, no one cared about the cast, everyone watched and loved it for the story. I am a huge fan of Seven Tan but I refused to watch it because since she was the only one I like, I felt I won't be able to enjoy the series. But when I finally watched it, I loved each and every cast.
You can say all you want but the fact still remains that Go Ahead is better in terms of acting, cast, emotional build-up, pacing and delivery.
From the first episode, I already knew I would love this series so much. Why? Because it was light and simple. I remember coming here to say it reminded me of the early Thai BLS that were so simple and ordinary but still managed to keep you glued to your screen. Of course, it's the usual university setting but the whole relationship between an introvert and an extrovert thing made it stand out. I always say this, the reason we got bored of university themed Thai BLS last year was because it came with the same engineering and medical student storyline 💀
Anyway, this is an 8/10 and I am going to miss it a lot. Thank you Wetv🥺 I've found a new love in Park and Big🥺 I love Park a lot. Hes like the new baby girl in the industry 😂

And Xue Yi and Jin Yan? they'll both eat up this role. I guarantee that!
Liu Xue Yi is so HOT and for what???😭 I can already see myself going feral for his looks in this series 🤭
October 14✨ Can't wait!
