Swords into Plowshares is the title and it definitely is a befitting one.
From nollywood to Hollywood, then the Filipino ones, mexican, before South Korea. Bollywood then Cdrama, Thai, Japanese etc....Ive watched a lot. I don't just watch because it is a form of entertainment, I watch films to feel. And nothing makes me feel more than the Chinese ones.
I love reading history but I love watching history more. History that is raw and unfiltered. History that does not hold back facts. History that does not shy from criticism. And while China might be state controlled, they've never held back when it comes to telling stories about their past. It is why they are a propaganda I am willing to fall for.
Anyway, if you are willing to, watch Swords into Plowshares.
Most times, when I watch something related to history, I disconnect from social media and ponder what it must have been like to live in such chaotic times. I go over it in my head, pausing the film to read up on the facts on Wikipedia β these people actually existed. Then, I sleep, grateful for the privilege of being born in the 21st century.
I just finished watching this . Loved it! They were so beautiful together. No unnecessary misunderstanding, no silly breakup, just a loving nature couple π What I loved most about this series has to be the gradual build up to their romantic relationship, it felt so natural β€οΈ
I get it now when people say the new contestants are at a disadvantage because it's totally not fair for Sunwook to pull that card move. Since they decided to reshoot, they should have either casted new faces entirely or banned the returning members from speaking about the shoot or using it to their advantage. This is so unfair. I know it's a competition but atleast, it should be a fair one
I think the word longing is more encompassing than the word love. To long for something is to yearn for something. To long for something is to want something so bad you feel you are going to die if you don't have that. To long for something is to be in dire need of something. To want is to need. To need is to yearn. To yearn is to love. And to love is to long.
Love? Love can be gentle. But longing? It captures a deeper, almost desperate intensity. It is that ache you can't shake off. It is so because longing implies an element of unattainability, like the thing you yearn for which might be out of reach. It could also be within reach
So babes, it's not enough for him/her/they to love you. Make them long for you like Suzuki longed for Sugiki in 10 Dance
I am going to soak my prayer beads in holy water and pray so hard that Huwei and Bomi ends up together. I don't care for anything or anyone elseπππ
Omg my wish came trueπππ Ever since seeing Wills in Fight For You and Black and White is Real, I've been praying to see him in a bl lead role ππππ
I was about to curse everyone involved asides the cinematographer and location manager but then he appeared on a horse and I swallowed the curse πππ I don't really care, I am just glad he did not die(yet) π
I like this a lot.
Taiwan needs to step up too. Can't remember the last good Taiwan bl I watched.... Probably See Your Love? Or was it Secret Lover? It is well
