And it's actually not even funny because, upon reflection, You Shu Lang never did anything to warrant such scheming and betrayal. His car hitting Fan Xiao's that day was purely an accident. Fan Xiao wasn't even hurt, and Shu Lang's insurance covered the damages. Yet, Fan Xiao had his goons hurt him because of that incident, and that wasn't enough—he led his boyfriend on, made him break up with Shu Lang, plotted to drug Shu Lang, recorded it on his car's dashcam, stored it on his system, and even used it inappropriately. On top of that, he had Shu Lang sexually assaulted. So, no amount of redemption can make him the good guy. No amount of suffering can make him pitiful. I know we're all into toxic Yaoi, but let's not confuse harmful behavior with romance. I'm seeing some accounts on FB suggesting Shu Lang should forgive him because he was "just in love," and that is nonsense. May this kind of love find all of you in Jesus' name. 😭
