Today, I finally accepted the fact that I'll never get a happy ending for Wayne and Chun. I thought I'll finally heal and move on from MODC but it looks like it's never going to be possible. Maybe in my next life😭
PS : Many of us will do anything for another series between Wayne and Chun, why aren't they giving us one???
Recent fls are not like that. I don't know why they choose to make her like that lol. The fl's we've been getting since this year and last year are strong, independent and smart.
After seeing the casts, the tiny hope I had was dashed. I wasn't expecting the acting to be good but atleast, shouldn't the cast look the part? I am disappointed 😭
Who asked for a Thailand adaptation? We honestly don't want this😭 please take it back!
The cinematography is breathtaking, the ost is beautiful, the story is not bad, Ding Yuxi is doing great.
Apart from the fl's acting being unbearable (not really unbearable, it's infact bearable but it's not that great), there seems to be something off, something wrong with this series. The way it's being delivered. I can't pinpoint it but it feels off and I know cause this ain't the first xianxia drama I've seen😭
WHYRU Korea is definitely better than the Thailand one. I admit, I was such a huge fan of the Thai ver (because of Saint. And let's be real, most people liked it because of the second couple. I wasn't interested in them anyway) and when the Korean adaptation was announced, I really had zero expectations. This was because I was expecting that they will follow everything in Thai ver including the bed scenes but they didn't and that's why I like it more. . I'm glad that they changed some parts of the story, making it MORE romantic because let's admit it, Thai ver is less romantic and almost half of the story focused more on sex and making out.
We only remember WHYRU Thailand bcos of its wild scenes, not the because of the story itself, right? When we hear about WHYRU Thailand, the first thing that comes in our mind is really those wild scenes, isn't it? I'd rather want the viewers to remember a series because of how good the storyline is, not because of those wild scenes.
So yeah, I'm really happy that the Korean version focused more on the storyline than having wild scenes. This makes the couple's more interesting.

That being said, there's absolutely no reason why this show should be 1h + long. Why would you put someone through such torture?
