If he's getting an angel editing like you said, then he deserves it. It's not his fault that he is liked and that he has a solid fanbase, it's also not his fault that some "talented" people are not being given a chance to shine like you said. Life isn't fair to begin with.

You can't actually compare Ji Woong's moments as an idol with Hui's. While Pentagon was having their moments, INX were in court due to mistreatment from their company. You can say that Hui had time to focus on his activities as an idol without any external influences, but you can't say the same for INX. Even after disbanding, he still went on to trying other groups and finally acting.
So even if he debuted one month before Hui, i don't see how it fits into this narrative.

I might have been wrong about Hui trying to improve but then he did not just get to where he was in a day did he? Did he wake up one morning and became as good as he is now? No he did not.
What I am saying is that, all of them are in the show to work on themselves, improve their skills and looking forward to being amongst the debut lineup.
