God knows I am trying so hard to get into this season's show but I am literally not feeling as thrilled as I felt last year season. The only reason I am still here is for Yibo😭
That was a realistic ending, I love it. I doubt that there's a mom in real life who would act differently from the way Wang's mom did. I mean we can all hate her but I love how her character was portrayed, the woman acting as her did a great job too. I love her lol.
I dropped this after EP 2 because I found it to be messy. Just came back to check the comments after watching a clip on Tiktok and people are still saying the same thing. Anyways I think I'll just binge it when it ends. Right now there's a lot of series to watch so yeah.
People like the girl who did plastic surgery are just stupid. You blame your inferiority complex on people who did nothing to you. Is it Meiran's fault that she studies hard and wins the admiration of her teachers? If you are that bothered,put in effort . And she had the audacity to say Meiran did not work for all she has at the moment, she disgusts me.
And about Zhuang's brother, it's like being rude and ill mannered runs in their lineage cause I can remember his attitude and how he called Meiran stupid in the earlier episodes. Watching him caution the boy, telling him to not speak of is friend like that shows character development on his own end. That being said, I would have knocked his brother on the head the moment he called Meiran uneducated. Shallow? It's you and your ancestors that are shallow 🤦
This was amazing when it started but somehow at some point it fell through. So I am genuinely surprised that the rating is high lol. Did I miss something? Was it not the same series I watched? This was slow , too slow that it almost became draggy. It had a lot of potential to be great but it really didn't live up to those potentials.
But the cinematography was beautiful and episode names was creative. It reminded me of Our Beloved Summer's episode names.
