I am glad Nan Lan left with the other man... Miao Ren Feng has zero love and devotion for his family. I get that Hu Yidao was his bosom brother but even Hu Yidao treasured his wife and kid, he won't be happy seeing Miaorenfeng abandon his family everytime in seek of a truth that doesn't matter anymore.

Even from the get go, there was no love between them, Nan Lan married him out of gratitude, he married her because he was lonely. He isn't even cut out for the family life. Your daughter has a fever, where were you? The daughter that he now took with him, who is to say that he'll be able to raise her properly? Not everyone is cut out for marriage, Miaorenfeng would be better off wandering the martial world and fighting injustice just like he used to before Nan Lan came along.
