RIGHT i noticed that too. i also saw a comment that says something about a betrayal scene soon so I did my research and I believe she's this series' Lizhen so props for the actress for delivering her scenes really well so far. The look of jealousy starts to show here but even in episode 1 you can see that she's already insecure and anxious(?) of her surroundings so even if the series is fast paced, it wont seem off-character when she inevitably betrays Gorya.

i also love how the drama toned down seungha's character compared to the webtoon. it makes it easier for me to to board the seungnari ship unlike the webtoon where i was rooting for chanyang the whole time in the beginning lol

aejin with jinsung (not really cause he's an idol but they both like e/o) and hoin and haneul made up but got an open ending (ig its up to us whether we'd want hoin and haneul to date again or not but the show made it clear nothing was going on between hoin and aejin

acting as the devil's advocate here, i think she felt pitiful towards haneul because at the end of the day, she still talked to her under the guise of genie and actually formed friendship with her. kinda like what haneul said "did you think its fun? i'd bully you in the day and we'd be friends at night?"

but tbh if i was in aejin's position i wouldn't even stand up for haneul after everything she did to her.

to me i don't think its really that justifiable? cause idk mijin and the other girl purposely set her up. its not a natural karma, she's not even in the position to do the revenge. mijin's motive for doing it is also because haneul almost exposed her for posing as genie so her plans of "avenging" aejin seems so pretentious and gives me bootleg nanno vibes.

I think its cause it feels like some scenes were skipped? like the end of 3/4 was pat being sad then in 4/4 he's suddenly fine without an explanation. But i don't rlly mind since sometimes those things do happen irl lmao
