Slightly unrelated but I just wanted to share sumn… When watching ep6, the young soldier looked so familiar and i’ve been racking my head so hard and where i saw him. At first I thought he was the guy from Stranger’s From Hell but then when I saw the ears, it clicked. I realized he was the square masked guy from Squid Game 😭😭 (i also saw him in The Best Mistake but idk if ppl know that since its a web drama)

Honestly the drama was really good but there was just a lot of loose ends 😭😭 This was probably what people meant when they said open endings are the worst shdgjsf. Since it was airing anyways in Netflix couldn't they have extended the finale into 2 hours or sumn? I wanted some wedding scenes at least 😭 Maybe even a closure for Youngseo's dad?? Also I heard they cut out a lot from the webtoon... they could have made it 16 episodes. My clown ass will be waiting for a special epilogue episode or sumn even if its probably not possible.

Respectfully, not every confession is a romantic confession. You shouldn't take it too literally. Some are just done for closure. Like obv Minwoo isn't dense and could sense that Hari liked him, but this time Hari finally told him for closure so he can finally move on. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of dramas that have used this trope.

Maybe the writer just did a horrible job in writing it, maybe it just got lost in translation. It just seems so counter productive of the drama to show Hari noticing all of Minwoo's red flags and slowly fall for Taemu only for the end to be... her still hung up on him. It doesn't make sense.

This is what I noticed too. She probably said it in an ambiguous way that it got lost in translation. It might seem like she was talking about herself, but she was talking about Minwoo's feelings for her.

Honestly I do not think she was confessing her feelings but rather giving a closure. If you typically have feelings for someone you wouldn't be able to easily say it to them (unless your Taemu lol which is probably why Hari didnt believe him quickly). Another drama I watched had a similar scene and in that scene it was just to officially close that chapter of the confessor's life. Maybe the drama wanted to do the same thing but just failed in the execution.

As for the "After some time... when I longer have any feelings for you and when I'm not someone you see so often... Maybe then we could .. " part maybe she was doing it on his POV on hers. Minwoo kind of still has feelings for Hari and most people who says "Let's be friends" not typically mean that. They usually just still want to stay in your life in hopes of finally getting another chance. She was probably said that to completely make sure Minwoo's feelings for her are completely gone before being friends again.

Ever since the yatch episode it was already clear her feelings for Minwoo are fading away. From how he treated Yoora and Taemu, to him butting in her life and her telling him off. It would be weird if the drama revealed she still had feelings for him after all the red flags Hari has seen towards Minwoo and the fact her heart is literally pounding when she's with Taemu. At least, that's how I interpret it.

I think its because everything was happening so fast and she's trying so hard to understand/make sense of his world that she simply got burnt out.

But I still agree though, I could feel the pain Thyme felt after doing so much trying to adjust only for Gorya to give up quickly.

To me I think Lita is a combination of both. She has the charms of Thyme which is why Gorya likes her too but at the same time she's also just like her, but rich.

the thing is, they usually film scenes randomly (this date scene we have seen recently was apparently the very first scene bright and tu shot) so we dont know too. if they are still filming until now, there's a chance they might slip in a filming for kavin and kaning's kiss scene when she's of age sice their story starts later in the series.

idk with the scene where ren pushed gorya hard not once, but twice, i started seeing a crack on his "perfect image" which definitely humanizes him and doesnt make him that 2d. i feel like with ep 6 we'll see more of this not so perfect-image ren as his entrance at the end of episode 5 definitely made some the viewers notice the "off" vibe.

I agree, I also feel like they'll show her playing sports later as this series tends to show and support statements they've established as seen back in Ep 1 when everyone said F4 had huge power, it was seen in this episode how the teacher was about to defend Gorya but when the kids mentioned Thyme's name, she suddenly became quiet. As well as the scenes of Kavin and the head of the bar.

Its so funny how during the start of the series i was a Ren x Gorya shipper but now when I saw Ren at the end I was like "sir not now, go back later tf" 😭😭

I think this is where Junior's mother's opinion comes into place. Junior ran away but at the end of the day, she didn't take him seriously. That's the same thing with Patpran's parents. They just think of it as a tantrum. Notice how when they told their parents they broke up they were all "You finally came to your senses" and "You did the right thing". If they had continued to rebel, that could have worsen seeing how their stance was against their relationship at that time. They just wont take them seriously.

To me, the timeskip was necessary to show that their love is still a strong as ever despite having to live a double life of constantly having to hide their relationship. Pat supported Pran to singapore too. Now that they're adults, working, mature adults, their parents finally loosened up and didn't mind if they dated. Remember, Pran's mom's issue was the fact her scholarship was stolen by Pat's dad. She probably has that fear where Pat (or Pa) may eventually do the same to Pran, hence why she said not to be friends with them. Who knows, maybe if they still went against them, they might have done things to make them fight/hate each other. Pran might gent sent out to another school again. Pran's mom did it already once and she can do it again.

Big agree with what you said! Honestly, I feel like I'm a Pran (literally down from taking the architecture route, the naggy attitude and so much more) and seeing him do what I'd probably do seems very relatable and refreshing. Its what makes him human. He loves pat very much but all his life, he knows that he should follows and obey his parents. That's why its so conflicting to him.

And yeah true, I get that these people can have their opinions but like... to call it unrealistic is so funny cause lmao I bet they'd probably do the same thing too (minus the gun scene that was probably the only unrealistic part of the series but i digress lol)

Edit: And too add on I love how they just made waikorn best friends instead of being a sudden BL couple. Like, if they suddenly dated, then that would be unrealistic eh? I just love how the series doesnt do too much and is just right. I'm baffled with some people still being discontented with this 😭 but then again people have different tastes so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Also did anyone notice Pat and Pran barely had any speaking dialogue in 2/2... Damn when people said they could act with just their eyes alone I felt it exactly at that scene. The feeling of longing, finally getting to see the one you love, the way the reminisce sdgfhgsdfjd

Omg im late but i loved the ending so much??? i might be in the minority here but am i the only one who found the time skips necessary? like its to show how their love started wayy back and it'll continue on in the future. it also works well with what we've seen in episode 11. they may not change the world instantly, but they wont let the world change them too. besides, what they're doing is slowly making a change too seeing how their parents loosened up.

Another thing I also like is they didnt magically make the parents alright with each other again but slowly accept and tolerate them. I mean, it was a stolen scholarship. From a woman too, where women (in SEA from what I know) are told to give up their higher education cause they "wouldn't need it anyways". Having that scholarship be stolen from her must be such a huge wound that couldn't heal quickly.

I hope they make a epilogue movie or sumn hehe like in 2-4 years Pat would propose to Pran (or the other way around) and their parents have completely accepted their relationship. Aaaaa i just love it idk ??? Also I hope I made sense I went straight into here after watching 4/4 so a lot of words are in my mind rn and I cant express how I feel right away lmaoo

also love that they're giving chanyang a chance making it a fair game for an actual love triangle to form. either way i hope if seungnari is end game, chanyang ends up w seonji or sumn, they look cute sjsjs
