WELL that was a lot to take in but it being a makjang drama, i expected it one way or another. I’d honestly accept these kinds of twists rather than the constant doppelganger/bait and switch death that has been used.

Also in retrospect, it kinda made sense that Seokkyung was Seolah’s twin? I mean, episode 1 to 3 alone in season 1 has foreshadowed their relationship. Dont forget the two shoes if you look hard enough in the shooting scene. They always have dramatic scenes with each other, always pit against each other, and so on. Makes more sense too compared to Seokhoon (although it could have made sense too considering he always protected Seokkyung, his fake twin, rather than his own real twin if that was the twist they went with) as Seokkyung needs to repent one way or another for all of the times she initiated the bullying against Seolah. Seokhoon has in a way sort of changed thanks to Rona, but Seokkyung didnt. It also adds to her guilt that she aided JDT, her fake father, rather than SSR, her real mother. I guess it also sets up her turning against JDT later in the season. Also idk if it counts, but I guess that’s also why she was most affected by SSR’a death and was most shocked by the news when Yang said SSR wasnt her real mom? Cause she genuinely felt a connection a child has with her mother. Not saying Seokhoon didnt, but if you look back, it kinda makes sense? Sorry if this is a huge wall of text and im rambling allt but yeah i wanted to get it out 😂

Everyone was punished for their crimes. Concealing crime, arson, tampering with evidence, etc. They denied it…
Just to clarify, she was indeed 15. Penthouse season 1 happened in a 2019 timeline. Seolah was born around 2005 as seen by her grave. The kids were just enrolling in Cheonga Arts Highschool too and Since Seolah was a year younger than them, they'd be 16 when they start 1st year which fits the timeline and makes sense age wise too.

He was a bully last season tho.
wdym "just" bullying that is just as bad- if people still hate on seokhoon for being an "enabler/bystander" during s1&2 then minhyuk is still as bad as the other hera kids. to top it off, he doesnt even have a real reason to bully them unlike the girls (which im not justifying it just makes sense why they act that way)

They're clearly mocking it though
Big agree. We're in such a modern age that some prosthetics could have changed his appearance already if they wanted to hide him (think: iParty with Victorious where the iCarly cast went undercover and they looked weird... but unrecognizable) There's always a way if you think cleverly enough. They honestly made a huge mistake with this part.

Man I'm honestly so disappointed with what they have done this episode. I could understand death baits and revived…
Like really?? Another twin situation? What are the chances that the only two good characters have a hidden twin? Even in a makjang show I'm just so dissapointed ughh.... Isnt that Baek Junki guy enough?? and the Yoo Dongpil guy?? And of course they had to make him wear dreadlocks... I wasted my 2 months getting hyped and excited for Season 3 expecting such a grand revenge for Joo Dantae, Rona x Seokkyung friendship yet got this instead...
Man I'm honestly so disappointed with what they have done this episode. I could understand death baits and revived people. I am also willing to take characters who are undergoing character development then suddenly reverting to their bad selves just for plot. But this? This is unrealistically ridiculous already, even by Makjang standards.... And I thought filo dramas were highly exaggerated and unrealistic.... Plus the fact this new character is CA too? Dear god they just ruined themselves. I'm starting to agree with people saying it should have ended with Season 2.

Seokkyung is so annoying and immature also very gullible heck she might be worse than eunbyul the only reason…
right?? like its so annoying. people are all like "and? she's hot so..." the amount of people defending seokkyung's actions just because her actress is pretty is astoundingly high. in what world is joining sides with your former oppressor a reasonable action? like, being jealous is not a good reason, girlie your risking your life. people should learn to separate the actors from the characters. even han jihyun herself said she absolutely hated joo seokkyung.

I think seokkyung will be pretending to be at Dan tae's side.. she can't just abandon su ryeon and her brother,…
I hope so too! but tbh based on how its looking im loosing hope ;-; one person theorized the reason why seokkyung's acting out is because suryeon wants her to take responsibility for what she did to jenny (since there was a scene in the school where suryeon bowed down and seokkyung walked out) so i feel like that's where dantae will strike to manipulate her ;-;
man seokkyung is frustrating as hell. how is she gonna believe the man who attempted to kill both of her mothers like??? she's so gullible and for what. ngl i would have liked it more if they falsely accused seokkyung as rona's killer a lil bit more in s2 so that her dumb ass wont easily believe hearsays and false accusations. also why cant suryeon and seokhoon just explain to her they were literally in on the plan.... and if they did and seokkyung didnt believe them then damn seokkyung has selective believing or sumn.... i cant believe a teaser got me stressed already like help?? ToT

Why?
hmm i think its a good way to progress the story though. i mean, it gives suryeon a reason to take revenge again as the MSA case has already "ended" in S2. (i put quotes on that because i have a gut feeling they're gonna reveal JDT as her real killer so that SSR would actually go full on revenge mode on him with the whole MSA, NAG and now LL situation). plus there's been too many baited/fake deaths already that adding one more would make it unbearably unrealistic (i mean im stil ?? over rona surviving a head stab but im still glad she's back) i just feel like surviving a whole ass bomb explosion would be taking it to another level.

In the new pictures- Suryeon being questioned at the police station and computer footage from the day Aegyo "died".…
Ooh im guessing it has something to do with Min Seola's real murderer? I mean, that's the only reasonable explanation on why she'd retract her statement. Her going to jail would have been the least she could do for SSR to pay for her crimes so...

But then its kinda weird since CSJ, HYC and the lawyer dude (i forgot his name lmao) still had multiple other crimes so how would they be released? (I didnt include JDT cause we all know he escaped)

I really dont get kbs! why they put so much effort in promotion the drama if they only have 12 ep and 1 ep in…
its funny cause before the drama aired (like i think around early april?) ppl were complaining as kbs isn't promoting them as much as other dramas (i remember seeing someone complain here that during that time youth of may already had trailers and teasers while imitation still didn't have a cover photo/film poster) and now that kbs is promoting them ppl are complaining too....

also cmiiw but i believe the reason why it only airs once a week is because another drama was supposed to air before imitation (i think it was dear m) but because that was cancelled (shelved? hiatus?) they decided to air imitation first but only with 1 ep per week

I'm hoping she gets a redemption arc. She's a popular idol in real life. She probably wouldn't take the role if…
I believe that she'll be good later. In her character relation chart to Maha she says "Maha lee, you're not bad aren't you?" i mean that could be interpreted in many ways but i'd like to think that's her rethinking her judgment of Maha and being nice to her soon.

Will Oh Yoon Hee be punished? Will there be justice for Min Seol ah? I haven't finished season 1 yet but really…
Yes, but it's still on S2. I don't wanna spoil to much but just remember the phrase "what goes around comes around" that's a summary of YH's plotline.

did you know that they releasing each season under 6 months?! i just glad that they working so hard and not making…
definitely not lmao. some other shows take at least a year to produce the 2nd or 3rd seasons. we should be grateful there's only a two month gap for each season. some ppl are rlly getting ungrateful....

she said that she will tell these kids later, but i dont know why she not tell them now?
I think that was a response to Seok kyung's question of "then why did she never come visit us at least once?" because SSR might think it'll be too much for them to handle that the reason why their birth mom died was because she wanted to see them one last time but JDT killed her.

NAG said that the twins are SSR's kids and she seems to know it but why is she hiding it to the kids. JSK hated…
she meant it in a metaphorical way. If SSR was the twins biological mom how would she have given birth to MSA then? NAG meant that since SSR raised them for 16/17 years then she should be called their "real mother"

By SRR logic if OYH can be forgiven because she was kind to MSL once then CSJ should be forgiven as well for hiring…
"then CSJ should be forgiven as well for hiring her when she was broke." I don't think it works that way. She still abused and LOCKED her in the mechanical room. Tied her up and made her suffer. Indirectly (or maybe even an accomplice) in killing her daughter. She also asked her to give up her slot in the school when they found out she wasn't actually in college. Min Seol Ah also refunded the money she got from all of the families so she didn't even gain anything from it. If we go by this logic then shouldn't SSR be grateful to the oh so lovely boss who overworked and didn't even pay Min Seol Ah for the last 2 months because he gave her a job in cleaning the dishes? And besides thanks to Min Seol Ah working for CSJ she (eventually) found out that CSJ and JDT were having an affair. Which was also the very cause of her getting locked up in the Mechanical Room and then to her eventual death (because lets be honest even if OYH wasn't there, JDT would have finished her off anyways)

SSR's logic was that OYH was kind to her, not expecting anything in return. To her, the only reason why OYH killed MSA was because she was drunk and not in a good state of mind. If she happened to be sober, then she wouldn't have done it in the first place. Which is far way better already than CSJ who did all those things WHILE sober + she had an affair with JDT too. If you're gonna bring up the "oh OYH betrayed SSR to by having an affair with JDT" well yeah you can literally still see SSR holding a grudge to that based of Episode 11 in their signing of contracts scene.
I feel like the guy next to Logan (I saw another comment saying his name is Alex Lee?? idk if that's confirmed but eh) and Jenny's dad are supposed to be red herrings. I believe they were meant to mislead us and think they're villains but they're actually not. I mean this is a makjang drama after all, they LOVE baiting us. But I wouldn't classify them as heroes too as there isnt much info to judge on + they might have some personal agenda going on, specifically with Jenny's dad. (I have a theory that the secretary actually works for Jenny's dad and is just spying on JDT for info hence why he keeps fucking up in JDT's orders.) But we'll see, I might end up completely wrong and they're all accomplices of JDT. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Edit: wait nvm my dumbass forgot about the guy saying he was there to meet Mr. Baek so imma hold off any opinion/theories about him atm. But I still stand by my main points, those 2 new characters could be red herrings and Logan is dead. It would be too boring if they repeat the same plot device for the 3rd time.

No, I think that's Jennie's father, as for his secretary was his spy. JDT has life imprisonment, so I don't think…
its JDT. Lee Jiah posted a story with him then quickly deleted it as it was a major spoiler. It also fits with Um Ki Joon's statement of shooting a scene with a beard that will surely make the fans hate his character more.
