I see, maybe that has to do with the team making Eun Yoo older than the webtoon version too? I mean, the webtoon version looks like she's at least 6 yrs younger than Hyun and Hyuk :'3

I think they don't really explain it explicitly in the drama X'D
Just that when Hyun was gonna call, there was a beeping sound instead and then a monster came right after or when Jisu, Jaehun and Hyun was gonna leave Dusik's room, they made a call (to detect the monsters), it's easily missed cus there's next to no verbal explanation abt it! If there was, I prolly missed it too lol X"D

Totally, they have to make the story (almost) from a scratch cus all 141 chapters was condensed alrdy :'3

But! That only means that webtoon readers can now enjoy whatever is there without comparing much too! XD

I agree with everything else but I just wanna clarify tho, the dynamics I mean was not because they're half siblings, more becus Eun Yoo is more vulgar and they're at odds with each other in the drama, that part doesn't sit well with me :'3

The leader actually wanted Hyun to be an addition to the monster guy in their team, they're bad bad people tho, murderer, rapist, conman, you name it, and not only Hyun, they wanna saieze the apartment as their base too, tho they all ended up dead anyway :v

More precisely it said that if you make a call and leave it on, it will make a beeping sound when an active monster is nearby :3
Doesn't work when the monster is asleep tho

I think because deep inside the Hyun in the webtoon, he has strong justice and he wants to help people :'3
He was selfless, but when he wanna help, he stepped on shit instead and got bullied by that son of a gun that lead to his family abandoning him and him being a hikikomori afterwards...
He was shining before he was bullied and he was shining when he found a reason to live TvT

But if the start of the drama IS the ending, then yeah, they probably cramped all 141 chapters into 10eps, which explains why it felt so rushed and not as scary for webtoon readers :'3

So, Hyun and Hyuk became monsters and fight each other on the rooftop as the the rest of the survivor escape the building. Hyuk became a blob of flesh that surrounds Hyun's monster form and covers almost the whole rooftop's floor. As time passes, they became a chrysalis and Hyun's hatched first. His eyes devoid of emotion. As he wanders through the apartment tho, he found Jisu's phone and he cried while listening to "Sweet Home". He then shows up at the military camp, smiling.

And that's the summary of the last 2 chapters as I recall! :3

I dun hate the drama THAT much, just a lil bit upset, but I do enjoy the beautiful scenes and videography and they do recreate the apartment as close as they could and I'm pretty happy with that! 0w0

I was totally mesmerized by the webtoon that I keep sighing whenever Yi Kyung took a line or scene from Jisu or Wook TvT
Or anything else that didn't line up, cus I finished the webtoon right before I started watching... everything is still fresh in my mind... TvT

Cus most of us who read the webtoon can't really go on without comparing em both and it's really agonizing....
I mean, the drama is great, I like it, but it just didn't click right cus I watch it after finishing the webtoon, the webtoon/manhwa was just THAT good :'3

I just don't like the part where they set aside Jisu and Wook and replaced their scenes with Yi Kyung... TvT
They changed the siblings' dynamics too...
Hyun shines too in the webtoon cus even tho he's silent, he has his own justice and sticks with it till the end, he and Hyuk are like two sides of a coin and that didn't come through in the drama... which is really unfortunate I guess TvT

But then, a lotta people who haven't read the manhwa likes it, so I hope they get to read the manhwa too, at least once :')
I had a hard time stopping myself when I read the manhwa!

Tell you what, if you still haven't read the manhwa, almost ALL of the chapters are drawn in the apartment and it's not the slightest bit boring, save for the prologue (Hyun's initial home) and epilogue (Military camp, where everyone is safe and happy that Hyun is back, although a bit weird)
