unfortunately the plot resembles too much to Descendants of the Sun (Korea) which is exceptional - I do recommend - despite that I like Johnny Huang, and in a way Li Qin - I do not find this series the best that they could have done - I prefer the costume dramas in which the Chinese excel or some RomComs. Some of the modern ones are a bit lacking in better action plots. On a different note the series With You - stories from the pandemic beginning - is exceptional and much more realistic and they also show you the real face of the military doctors and nurses - and they do have physical training, thing which is lacking in this one - sometimes when is boring and does not have any value added I just do fast forward There are series with strong female leads which are not submissive The pat on the head or just hugging is the way the Chinese dramas are the way they show love - usually there is not much kissing - even though they began to change a bit in the last ones... but I have not seen much intimacy in their series and I do not mind that as the way they chose to show the feelings between the protagonists without kissing or sex - more powerful through images and actors' play
