But this drama has potential so idk why the mls were used as a plot point for them to cause misery to the female leads at least in one part of the plot. I mean is it not toxic? (this is my one and only comment on this dramas page so im not hating on it or anything)

Im not surprised china didnt like it ig, they wouldve ate this up if there was a high traffic actor though. Even if the plot isnt good, theyd still like shows with such actors.

im so glad someone who watched the donghua doesnt dislike this drama, cause theyve been saying its not that good in the comments for a while now. Just made me a bit sad cause this drama is really good

i agree, but part of what made the young characters so good, is the younger fls acting is insanely expressive and good. Like she brought so much life to her character the older fl has gone through a lot, so the chemistry isnt just going to be instant like people think

i havent watched the anime, so i dont have the comparison basis. But the show is really good for a standalone watch at least.

i agreed with how the romance played out between ml and fl, and they dont have the best chemistry.. but you lost me at the sml, he was psychotic as hell and kept pulling her and even kidnapping her after being told no multiple times. Bros insane.

i still feel weird, i feel like the mls acting doesnt show any depth in difference between acting like a brother and being openly able to like her- i still feel like their siblings. they shouldve had more romance build up before the confession at least from her side
