Whilst some people are arguing about the kiss, I think the main argument is about how Seojun’s scenes are just…
I agree. Though i do want to say that Jukyung never liked Seojun, well at least genuinely. She used the relationship to try to heal and move on from Suho. Seojun was putting all the effort by meeting her everyday, getting a job for her. She did not know her own feelings only to make him surprised in the end when she rejected him.
ikr!! despite what comments say, he genuinely does like Jugyeong. He started falling for her after he found out…
i agree, though i do wan't to say that SLS could also be because of his personality and overall sly/badass/mischievous aura because i have seen comments where non webtoon users saying they never expected to go hard for seojun, but still did.
So it could be both ways, sometimes SLS is not really meant literally. Like for me, i say i have sls but not really in the terms of Jugyeong and his loveline, but just seojun himself as a character and how much we wan't him to have a purpose.
I literally can't read the webtoon anymore cause she broke up with sj like in the webtoon that boy is everything…
ikr!! despite what comments say, he genuinely does like Jugyeong. He started falling for her after he found out how she was helping out his sister. If it was all for revenge then why does he treat her so well even when they are alone? It's not as deep as Suho's but the way he comforted her after he found out she likes suho really does show that his feelings are getting stronger, which is kind of sad because seriously, he deserves better.
i'm probably going to drop it also if they decide to waste Seojuns and Soojins potential. Just because they are second leads, does not mean they deserve to be purposeless.
do yall think the writers will go with the suho x jugyeong pairing or will they follow the webtoon and make her…
i actually am not too sure since the original webtoon creator said she's now team seojun which doesn't make sense, but i think she just meant it in a light way where she likes his character.
however, its 99.9% liley Suho. obvious. that's how he's listed in the relationship chart as well.

when i was reading the webtoon, i thought Seojun was going through more than Suho because he was the one who there for her all these time, main financial support for his family, relationship issues, dealing with mental health, idol trainee, and part time job because he was struggling to put food on the table.
However i end up being wrong. i'm guilty for neglecting Suho when i was reading the webtoon. He goes through problems equally as Seojun. Trauma, negligence, betrayal, his sick father, people, and all the other stuff the twitter user mentioned.
idk if i can say who deserves her more in the webtoon since she herself was indecisive and both of them were there for her through thick and thin. however in the drama it's pretty much shxjukyung since she already made up her mind.
I think the main difference is that Suho struggles more mentally whereas Seojun struggles more financially. Mental health is as equally as bad as physical.
That 8.7 rating is one of the most intriguing mysteries on MDL.
not everyone likes a deep realistic drama. sometimes people like to sit down and watch a cute rom com after a stressful day at work/school. this type of show where the cliche is done right. so i don't get why people have such stereotypes on rom-coms. they can be equally as rated as other stories that have more depth.
I literally love Seojun with all my heart which is why i don't want him to get with Jugyeong. He already dated her in the webtoon, only to be heartbroken in the end so what is the point?? He literally has no purpose in the webtoon. The creator did him dirty.
So why are people still wanting him to get with her when it's just going to be rejection after rejection in the end?? Yes in real life a girl can change and date another guy whenever she wants but this is a KDRAMA and we know in a kdrama the second lead never gets it. It's already cliche enough so WHY do you expect realism???
I want Seojun to have his own story, purpose, and romantic relationship with someone else (if they consider) Im already a simp for him so if i see him just be a mere bridge, having absolute no mercy to his character, i WILL dislike this drama lol. Just like how i HATE the webtoon.
