Poker-face, cold characters are indeed very hard to play. Maybe one of the hardest even. Because then you have…
Exactly my point. I didn't read the manga cause I never do. But I did manage to watch the jap version after seeing so much comparison. A lot are like Gem character is meant to be like that. But isn't Ida's character also like that as well? Why did he do a better job than Gem in terms of portraying that character? I just feel it's got nothing to do with how a character is meant to be, but how an actor convey that character into life so it could click to the viewers.
hahaha you can tell you didn't read the manga, his character is supposed to be like that, he doesn't show his…
The Japanese version was also emotionless but imo, he kind of did a better job than what Gem is doing. It's okay if others didn't read the manga or whatever, they are still free to air their thought on the show so far. I didn't read the manga, cause reading mangas aren't really my thing. But I did watch the jap ver after I saw a lot comparing both versions, and I can low-key see how their thoughts are valid.
Fort is doing a great job with his acting. Sometimes Peat acting makes me want to close my eyes... Lol. But he's also doing fine. I like both episodes so I'll continue. The butt at the shower made me choke. I wasn't expecting it. No heads up whatsoever. I was expecting him to put on boxers in the shower... Lol. Sex scenes doesn't freak me out much. At first I was like probably because it's bl and I'm a girl.... But I also don't freak out much when it comes to straight movies as well. Doesn't mean I wasn't surprised at the shower scene though... Lol. Last time I was this shocked was with kinnporsche. I guess I'm not used to Asians movies/series revealing much.
Watching thus for the second time, and I must say this. This is one of gmmtv best series. Both in straight and bl. Every actor delivered so well. Even the characters with the littlest part acted so well. It felt like I was watching the lives of certain individuals and not a series.
It's wrong. Shone knew the circumstances behind their breakup, he's not new to their situation.
I don't hate him. I was one of the few that defended him in earlier episode, stating that people shouldn't hate on him cause he likes Kang. He never knew Kang was the guy Moo likes and so, deserves no hate. I even respected him for backing off and leaving Kang for Moo, instead of starting an unnecessary drama. But this, I don't agree. As I said, he knows the circumstances behind their breakup and knows fully well that his cousin and Kang are still deeply in love with each other. Flirting shouldn't have crossed his mind. It's still good that both are still friends, emotional support should've been what he would've given Kang and not trying to try his luck for the second time. It's a good thing Kang nicely turned him down without hesitating.
I’m not mad at Shone but I’m mad at Kang. In fact I hate Kang now. He should run away from Shone like he run…
Kang is LITERALLY not accepting Shone flirting with him. So what are you on about? He can't be friends with Shone cause he knows the latter likes him? He LITERALLY turned him down. Dude you need to stop. Your hate looks forced and desperate. Go chill by watching another series, or watch the episode again cause I don't think you understood what was shown to you
I feel like people get a lot of things confused when it comes to consistent writing and the quality of said writing.…
I only see one unnecessary hate from a user. I mean it would have made sense if their point was valid, but it felt they had their eyes closed when watching this ep. Cause nothing they say makes sense. Like I'm trying to understand their dislike for Kang cause of shone, but it still wasn't what this ep was portraying
I’m not mad at Shone but I’m mad at Kang. In fact I hate Kang now. He should run away from Shone like he run…
Kang is literally not dating shone and literally rejected him again by saying they know in their heart that they are not together when Shone tried to flirt. Are you guys watching the same show??? This comment is low-key laughable
I don't think payos thought he was asleep in the first place. He was going to hold him till he was better, not till he falls asleep as Tae suggested. He pecked him on the forehead and got drawn to his lips after staring too hard and Tae cuddled him. I wonder how you watched that scene to think he was asleep or to think Payos thought he was asleep, cause it doesn't look that way.
The kick Tae gave Moo was a classic😭... I felt bad that I laughed😂. Why do I feel that Jang knows about Payos feelings for Potae and that scene Tae saw was Jang comforting Payos??? It might be false though. I find Potae's character in this episode very adorable. Especially when he was acting like he was okay and pushing Jang and Payos to go get the coffee.
I also feel the last scene was Moo imagining Kang... Cause it makes no sense for him to just appear. I doubt the company nor the boys will call him about Moo getting kicked in the face😂(that slip and scene was so epic😂)
I'm not ready to say goodbye next week Sunday... Super glad I ignored the trailer and gave this series a chance
I can finally see why it's being compared. I just started the jp ver and I just finished the first 2 episode and I must say, it's way better. The jp ver of Gem's character isn't as expressive as his love interest, but his character doesn't look dead. You could feel the his character's expressiveness in every gesture he makes. The jp ver of fourth character is just so good and adorable and so funny without trying too hard.
I love the play scene more in the jp ver. It was so hilarious yet very adorable that I wish it was a real play I get to see.
The other two couples were really fun to watch and had more feels compared to the Thai version (saying all this after watching first 2 episodes of both versions).
I also love the way the jp version revealed the mix-up. It wasn't that immediate knowing it was moved to the ep 3 and there was an wholesome scene attached to it as they accidently revealed the mix up.
I know Gem's character isn't expressive, but I still feel he can do a better job in showing that character. Maybe it's the director's fault. I'm way more invested in the jp ver now... Lol. Why didn't I watch it sooner?? But I'm still going to watch this as well, hoping further episodes gets better.
Just going to say that I now understand the comparison. If I'd watched the jp ver first, I'll also criticise while giving this a try. There were so many iconic scenes I saw in the jp ver ep 1 and 2, I wish the Thai version had/kept.
It's GMMTV what did you expect? It's the same as Cherry Magic! (Thai), but I think the did dial it down a bit.…
I haven't watched cherry magic yet so I'm not sure of how many the ads are. This isn't about cherry magic but mlmu. Compared to many shows I've watched on the YT channel, the ads here are a bit too much. I'll probably watch the jp ver since a lot are comparing, and I'll see if it's really that good or just another mid show. I'll also watch this as well since it's just two episodes in. Hopefully it'll pick my interest in further episodes
The ads are taking majority of the screen time😭... Did they combine ads meant for four series into this one series?... I must say, I like ep 1 way more than ep 2. Ep 2 felt like I was watching MSP all over again, but with different outfit and settings. I still adore both actors though, just had to pour out my thought on it so far. I haven't watched the Japanese ver, so it's safe to say I'm watching this with an open and clean mind. I'll still keep watching since its just 2 episodes in
I think we are so used to dumb BL plots that we don't even try to analyze things and just asume that they are…
Your replies are so funny. And I guess it's because we think the same way. I just don't get Ming. I mean ive watched movies were ML falls in love with FL Singing voice. But it usually comes with good plots. Like if a different girl tries to take the shine and pretend to have that voice, the ML might sense something and unconsciously get drawn to the FL despite the other girls claim. But for Ming, it's not like that. He was obsessed with *clears throat* A BACK. It doesn't matter the owner of the back, he just wanted the back (I'm literally laughing as I'm typing this). Joe deserves way more than Ming. But if he decides to go with Ming, then good for him.
Joe is so pretty and so hot at the same time. Ming is super annoying. It will take more than him crying against the back he fell in love with, for me to see him in a good light. LIKE WHO FALLS IN LOVE WITH A BACK? I won't even mind if Joe and Ming don't end up together. Joe deserves someone better.
Can't believe I was hesitant to watch this series. It took me a day to watch ep 1-7 and now I'm wishing I'd waited till the series finished airing. It's surprisingly so good😭
I also feel the last scene was Moo imagining Kang... Cause it makes no sense for him to just appear. I doubt the company nor the boys will call him about Moo getting kicked in the face😂(that slip and scene was so epic😂)

I won't deny though, the series is so good.
