I think what they were going for is to show Lee Chang is the protector of the kingdom. The true king who looks after the safety of his people without wanting any recognition and power in return. He is in contrast of all the kings before him who were more interested in self-preservation, title, benefits than going above and beyond for the well-being of the citizens.

No hate to the actors, they did what they could with the script and whatever experience they have . But the story sucked big time. Even poor acting can be overshadowed with good story, strong character development and high quality production. This is just lazy writing and whole pressure was put on actors popularity and good looks to carry out the show.

The ML is new and can’t speak or understand the language properly, at least give his character some personality traits other than being handsome. The FL has experience in acting and did decent job in previous projects but even her acting was lacking. Because the character has no substance. She is a women in her 20s behaving like a 13 years old (sorry even 13 years old are not that naive/spineless and have common sense to take actions when they are harassed by creeps).

The plot is so bad, after 14 episodes i still don’t understand what’s the story about. What character development leads went through. How did they fall in love and why. And random stuff were added unnecessary. The director thought these subjects are popular in other dramas so it will work on this as well regardless of logic.

Any decent dramas whether targeted to teens or adults have a message, a takeaway, development, intensity, meaningful ending. I must say this drama had none. I am ranting way too much but feel kinda frustrated they gave high expectations and anticipations from the original trailer and served such garbage after long wait.

So Roong is the master mind and till now all her cards are winning.
Nawa is the most unpredictable character for the moment, if Roong is pregnant will he become greedy to be with her and the baby, in consequences spoil her plans to take over her husband business?! Or he will be even more loyal and cunning to make her happy for the sake of her child?! I am really curious and excited to see how it will turn out.

I love the actors but honestly this drama is too cheesy. I was expecting a story like secretary kim, with cute but strong leads. But this drama looks more like Boy for rent, basically hot people paired together in an unsubstantial story.

One thing i like about this drama is the FL isn’t portrayed to be the perfect human being right all the time. She was annoying as teen and even after growing up she has minor flaws like all of us. This make her realistic and give more depth to the character. Same for ML, he comes off as a spoiled jerk but he isn’t heartless. Time to time he does speak sensible words and confront the FL when she acts out. Btw I would have never guessed the actress is 7 years senior to the main actor and soon to be 32. Girl has very good genes. She looks younger than some people born in 97-98.

The cast is A+.
I loved every single characters, the villains are funny but same time scary. The leads are badass and as much cunning as the antagonists. The side characters are entertaining and useful.
Vincenzo’s motto is perfectly fitting to todays’s world, To fight the evil one need to become the devil himself.

This seems a good mystery drama, at this point anyone can be the culprit. No one is fully clean or fully evil. Characters have their own motive and playing own game. All of them are smart and quite professional (except for Mai but girl is strong and can fight for what she wants).
I appreciate Wayu is not the typical love-sick boy chasing his lady love. He doesn’t fully trust Get but also doesn’t keep accusing her.
I can’t dislike Get despite what she did with Pas. She is multidimensional and unpredictable, it is hard to gasp her intentions. One side she seems neutral, other side looks quite ambitious.

Even the couples are not established, everyone is having awesome chemistry with everyone else. First time I don’t mind about end couples or no couples at all becoz solving the mystery and unveiling each character game look more interesting than the romance angle.

I hope they keep up the intensity in next episodes.

He mentioned in social media that he will be taking over the role because the previous actor has another project scheduled same time. The resurge made the filming time clash. I think as soon as the restrictions are lifted they will start shooting because otherwise they wouldn’t need to change the main actor.

I am liking how diverse luke’s roles are. He was a goofy friend in Nabi, a handsome boss in this drama, a cop disguised as drag queen in his next drama and a bar dancer in future project. He might end up having 4 dramas in 2021, this year is quite lucky for him. Kudos to him for being able to make his name in a foreign country and gaining success.

After today’s episode i also find it quite slow.

For luke i think it is his 1st drama. They shoot it long time ago but took a while to air. On top of that Thai is not his 1st language, maybe he isn’t able to fully understand the script.

Mook character doesn’t have much personality. If the role was more like secretary kim she would look so much better.

But a good thing is there is no negativity and crazy villains screaming around. Hopefully it gets more interesting in next episodes

The drama is sweet and light-hearted. Luke has such angelic face that it is hard to hold his character accountable for harassment lol. He looks cute, childish, handsome and manly at the same time. This is so much better than nabi.

The only good thing in this drama is the acting of the actress playing wee. Despite all her evil actions I can’t help but feel sad about her life. She wasn’t evil to begin with. In fact she was a caring human, a good daughter, a patient sister and loving aunt. Her family took advantage of all this. As result, she ended up snapping. If someone was just there to protect her or get her help when she was abused she wouldn’t have ended like this. Kudos to the actress, she did justice to the character. It is truly a talent to make viewers love and hate her at the same time. I hope she gets an award for her role because it is very challenging to portray such complex character convincingly.

Nabi’s male friend and the housekeeper in kawin’s house are the best characters. Everyone else should get their brain checked, I doubt they were dropped as a child that could explain their stupid actions

Wee is kawin’s aunt/surrogate mother in the story, it will be very disturbing if they were together...

If you haven’t already checked out then maybe you might like Fah Mee Tawan. The plot is similar to HJS and the ML is also very smart and calculative.
