Poor acting but strong story line
Ok, this review is mostly on the FL. I had a HARD time trying to see her as the FL. The female voice actress sounded better than her acting. She might be kind of smart at solving crimes but that is about it. I don't see nor feel the romance between her and the ML because she spent 34 episodes thinking and caring about the 2nd ML. Honesty once she realized that she " loved" the ML, she still stabbed him in the back multiple times then get mad and upset when he didn't treat her like a princess. There are no emotion at all when she's expressing her emotions. Personally speaking she was playing with both male's emotions and acted all innocent and pure when she did something wrong.If you want to watch a drama about solving crimes, then this is the drama. It is very entertaining and catchy. If you want a crime solving romantic drama, this is NOT it. The ML was great the entire drama but the FL was getting more and more annoying near the last couple episodes. Alot of alligator tears after betraying the ML and him not wanting to be near her.🙄 Honestly wish the FL was someone that has better acting skills.

Love it!
So far, i am really loving thr drama. It is the first tine for ne to hear Xiao Zhan dubb his character. He plays the ML perfectly and i wish i have a big brother like him. All of the actors and actress did super well in my opinion. Although i kind of wish there would be more scenes on the romance side, i still like seeing the friendship develops and bloom. Let's continue to support Xiao Zhan with love and encouragement! Sooo happy that he is back on stage and singing and acting! Cannot wait for his other dramas to air!!! Copy cat of other dramas... nothing new and SOOOO CHEESY
WHERE DO I START?!?! This drama is funny and entertaining to watch if you want some background noise. Story line is the same like any other chinese romance now . ML is a cold, arrogant and good looking rich man who has some kind of illness( turns to blue eyed demon). FL is a clueless, cute and dumb girl that is the leader of a clan... she also has a heart disease and can't live past 25🙄. They fell in love while trying to find a book to heal them. 2nd leads are both kind of dumb and will do whatever in order to get what they want.The acting is Meh, not that good but not that bad either, especially when they're flying or falling off a cliff. The fact that they just stand there when falling or flying shows how OBVIOUS about them being attached to a line and dangling in mid air..... WHY ARE CHINESE HISTORICAL ROMANCE GETTING SOOOOO CHEESY!??? Really not impressed 😐 😒

Ugly makeup and weird storyline
The storyline doesn't seem to match what the drama is about. ML was in love with FL and did not seem to have a cold personality like the storyline says. The way he acted out the Fool part is kind of weird in my personal opinion. ALOT of head/ twitches and blinking of eyes. The FL makeup is just PLAIN UGLY. the ML is okay but the FL has 2 pig tails and an easy braid. Seems like the make up crew got SUPER LAZY. FL acting is okay but i feel like they can do better. It only has 26 episodes so it is rushed but i really hope it gets better as more episode airs. Interested as to how the storyline changes.Was this review helpful to you?
Fresh meat actor/ actress drama
The only good thing i can say is that they followed the same story line from the drama with the same name back in 2001. The acting not horrible but not great either. ALOT of fresh faces so didn't expect much. Basically unless you are there just to see handsome/ pretty faces, this drama is kind of a time waster. I really couldn't get into the drama due to the acting. Not sure what the rate will be when it is finished but as of right now, the chance of it being higher than 3 stars is kind of rare for me.Was this review helpful to you?

So far I really like it. I like how ZCL has matured in this season. FBB is still amazing as usual, the other characters are interesting. The only question is Hou MingHao is said to be a Main Character, ep 8 is almost out and he appeared on screen maybe twice for about 5 minutes total? I also wish thery didn't switch the actor for ZGT. I also wish there were more episodes. IF you're only doing 13 episodes, why not just make it into a movie?? The episodes seems shorter than season 1 as well......Was this review helpful to you?

This drama really reminds me " Romantic doctor teacher kim" series. The episodes are strong and kept me on the edge of my seat every time. The main doctor reminded me of Dr. Kim from.thr other doctor series. If they make a show judt for Teacher Kim, i feel like this would be it. Okay, so apparently China is into making dramas with hot guys that has a HUGE red flag to his personality. The ML is rude, possessive, arrogant, selfish and a creep. Alsp. He's a dirtbag for thinking he can have keep the girl AND get married.Again Luo Zheng decided to continue to play the rich, prideful and emotionless boss. I don't find it cute or romantic when your BF treats u like trash but ur dumb enough to go back to him after some cheesy lines and couple drops of tears.
GUYS, DO NOT IGNORE THE RED FLAGS IN A RELATIONSHIP! DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH YOU LOVE THAT PERSON, YOU WILL REGRET IT!
The acting is mediocre, both actors have little to no expression. They are glaring at each other half the time with almost hate in their eyes... where is the love? I'm watching this show to spot the red flags, thats it. It is too slow, with mediocre acting, dubbing and music. So rate it 3/10

Where is Xiao Ge and Pang Zi??
The story it self was really good. I was not a fan of it having 2 stories being told in one dramam.... sort of. iI felt there was much of to jumping around with the main characters.
I wish they explained more about what happened to Xiao Ge and Pang zi. They were mentioned briefly but i don't remember them being mentioned later on.😟😟😟 I know the drama series were based off books but i wished they explained what happened between each drama series instead of having a totally different story line each time.😔😔

Good actors..
I always felt like HMH was a good actor and have seen majority of his dramas.. however I'm kinda disappointed in the acting in this drama. ALL the actors have a " weak, lack energy" type of voice. From the strong to the strong demon hunter...... I'm also disappointed with Hou's fight scenes or lack of it. I understand he is a super powerful demond but with the weak voice, lack of strengths in fight scenes. I won't have guessed he was all powerful.Was this review helpful to you?
Messy timeline
The story line is just kind of messy. Starting the episode with a flash back was a bad move personally speaking. Each episode is a cliff hanger then you start the next episode with a flash back before continuing with the new storyline......The acting is mediocre. Both the FML and ML's acting is really not that great, especially the ML fight scenes. You can tell it just look too performance like. Still don't understand the point of the FML being there besides having a crush and slight romance.
WAY TOO SLOW! felt like they dragged the show on just to make the watchers be on the edge...
Music is alright..... not that great but not bad either. Definitely keep you on the edge and want to make you binge watch. So that is a 10. Overall rating is 8/10.

Woah...
I'm here mostly for the ML after binge watching the entire My lethal man drama. I have seen his other dramas but i can't believe how GOOD he is at acting like the villain. Not only is he good looking and tall. He is also a great actor and can't wait to see more of his dramas. Too bad each episode are only 10 minutes. Hope his character change for good because i don't approve of any kind of violence doesn't matter if it's physical or mental!!!The FL is pretty good too, but i don't really like the character. If you noticed something is off about your lover , ask for help! Don't EVER let anyone treat you like you're less than you are. Don't ignore those red flags!

Slow
This drama is definitely for comedy purposes. The guy playing Lu BuPing got on my nerve alot because of how whiny he is. Half the time, the second daughter is coaxing him like a kid. His behavior is like a kid. Complaining about every little thing when he is living on their house, has food and roof over his head. It is very slow based drama and by the time i reached ep 6, i was skipping parts. Now sure if i want to continue. The acting is a little too dramatic and do are the music and sound effects.. It is like when someone tried super hard to make this drama funny but it is just boring to see and watch at this pointWas this review helpful to you?
Interesting storyline
I am loving this drama so far. The only problem is the FML's fake voice, her jumping around like a 3 years old and her UGLY Ass customs! I don't know who decided the make her outfits look like a toddler just scribbled on a paper and the adult thought it was a good idea..... The entire outfit including thr hair style is just plain ugly! I hope as the drama grow, her outfits will be better...Was this review helpful to you?
Qiong Nu
SO far the drama is very interesting. I wish the introductions tell you more about the characters. They tell you who the 5 FML daughters are but the Qiong Nu girl also call the mom " mom". SO I'm curious as to what her identity is? IS she the step daughter, adopted daughter, a cousin??The music is nice and the acting so far is pretty good.
